"Just been stopped in Tesco by someone of FABs, they were very nice and it wasn’t awkward in anyway which surprised me. Has anyone else been recognised and was it awkward?
Kelly x"
Sorry but that’s a big fab etiquette no-no in my book. Yes you might recognise me but approaching me in public shows that you have no discretion. |

We’ve spotted a few fellow Fabbers while going about our business, but we’d never approach them. You never know who they’re with, who’s listening and whether they’re even in the mood. The last thing I’d want is to be talking about my latest pics or status update in the middle of Lidl! |

We're one of the unusual Fab members that really don't mind, in fact enjoy, people coming up and saying hello. But then, that's because we never have kids or family with us, and if we were out with friends, they'd be swingers too

Indeed. An imperceptible nod is allowed though. |

We used to meet a guy who then got in to a relationship. He gave us express permission to say hello to him if we saw him out anywhere. That's the only time I'd ever approach anyone especially if we'd never met or communicated. |

Yes by a friend - he whispered my profile name into my ear on a night lot. It was awkward for a moment, until it clicked in my mind which profile was his and I said it back to him.
That soon shut him up. |

We were at matlock on the bike, sat in the sun when a guy we had both fucked the weekend before walked passed with his mates! We all nodded and smiled but nothing more. |

Absolutely this! I may appear to be on my own, but it’s going to pretty awkward when my mate/new partner/family member suddenly appears and says “who was that?” and I haven’t got an answer prepared. Some prop just blush when they’re fibbing and can’t help but give the game away.
You don’t know what’s going on in my life right now and whether I want to be approached, no matter how nicely it’s done. |

So it seems the general consensus is that people would rather not but OP, you said they did it in a good way and that you didn’t mind.
Care to share how they did the approach that made you feel okay with it ? ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

"Would this include slapping your cock on the side of their trolley and asking if they fancied some hot sausage in the car park??? "
Todger I’d be disappointed if you saw me at a funeral and felt you couldn’t approach like that. I would expect some sort of todger dance to announce your arrival though. Might lift the mood a little. That’s my one exception. |

I’m curious, what were you doing in the supermarket they helped them recognise you? Your faces aren’t that clear in the pictures. I’m thinking stalker !! |

My dentist is a swinger, not only has she tended to my teeth for a few years, she's also been to several swinging events that we have been to.
However......it's never spoken about when I see her in a professional capacity, helped by the fact that we've never played together.

I recognized a fellow fab member about a year ago as she walked across a car park, her multi coloured hair made it so easily to recognize her, i didn't say or acknowledge her as she was with friends. |

The wife who I played with on-and-off for three years lived not far from a shopping centre which my wife and I would visit occasionally - it was across town from us...
....my playmate was fully aware that my wife didn't know about her, so when one day our paths did cross - she was coming out of the Tesco there as we were going in - she saw, but didn't acknowledge me...
....likewise, if I ever saw someone I'd played with out and about, I'd never, ever, approach them... |

I’d Been fucking a woman for at least three
Months and then one day at a works social do my boss introduced me to his wife, I just smiled and said hello as she nervously said hello back, he replied “my wife’s a bit shy” little did he know I knew better lol.
But I never approach anyone on fabs in public, this is meant to be discreet after all, a play world away from normal life. |

I had the opposite - organised a drinks social and a guy took my name from PayPal and then Facebook stalked me. Then told me he'd done it like it was a good thing! Glad my Facebook account is locked |

We don’t use our real names on here. Part of being discreet. I (male) would have no problem with a couple letting us know they had seen our profile as long as it was done tactfully. Cammy would panic if we were with other people. She once played with a woman she worked with and for her it got embarrassing for a few days. |

I had a guy contact us on my couples profile. He was convinced he knew who we were, it happen more than once, we didn't know him and the names he thought were wrong, so we suggested he goes to the house where he thought we lived and knock on the door with his cock out. That shut him up!!! |

A lady came into where I work who I recognised I dealt with her work enquiry and about a hour later I sent her a message. She never messaged back which is fine that’s her right.I was also recognised by a man on here who told what time he had seen me in Asda and Ladbrokes and asked if I still worked at my place of work which I did.The thing that worried me about him was that he is a tv / ts so I really have no idea what he looks like |

Tbh, receiving that message would utterly creep me out, specially it it was from someone random I'd never spoken to before

I needed to pay a deposit for the bar so everyone paid £5 which they got back as a drink on arrival |

The village where I live is very small and a few miles from anywhere else. There is a couple on here only 1/4 of a mile away from me. I'm 99% sure from their pics I know who it is but I would never mention it to them on here or in public. |

Got a message from someone saying they recognised us at a Jimmy Carr show and even told us what seats we were sat in.
Doesn’t bother us but is funny when you consider if you’re open visibly about who you are, you’ll definitely have a chance of being recognised out and about. |

I saw a female at a mutual friend's wedding and worked it out from the tattoo on the back of her neck. Didn't say anything then or since as I've seen her a few times in get togethers through the mutual friend after the wedding. I wouldn't mind it myself if I was spotted and approached as long as it was discreet but I opt for respecting people's privacy as they may not share the same view. Better safe than sorry I guess!!! |

Been recognised by a couple that lives near me who made it completely obvious that they recognised me, don't think they realise I seen them though also been single blokes from near my way that have recognised me, easier when people just let you go about your life rather than try wave at you like they know you or point and talk after you've passed them by |
