Our profile says we don’t want straight men, they still contact.
Our profile has age limits, they still message.
Our profile says we don’t ‘meet now’, they still try and get us too.
Society has told men they can override someone’s preferences or requests if they’re charming or persistent enough.

Merely our thoughts, there's a relatively obvious motivation for most people being on here, so if we were to unblock single guys we'd be ready for those kind of messages as they'd be understandably under the impression we may be..
In honesty when we have dropped that filter the majority were polite and a pleasure to receive.
But were blocked as we weren't looking for that before taking a break and we don't like to waste people's time if they feel we may be. |

Your profile is your shop window in order to attract people and get them to message, maybe it set out in a way that attracts men more than women, although there are a lot more men on the site than women. |

I’d suggest a few reasons
Given the ratios on here they don’t need to. Their inboxes are already full of messages every day.
Messaging immediately gets you past their filters.
A lot don’t like cock pics at all let alone as an avatar.
They prob find that simply saying hello is taken as tacit agreement of a meet and then have to block men who can’t have a conversation.
