Would T total put you off?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I myself do not drink alcohol, I just don't like it, but this doesn't stop me going out to events and places where people do drink, I just prefer a soft drink.
Would that put you off a meet/social with someone like myself? |

Absolutely not. I’m not t-total myself but I only drink very rarely and only the one when I do. It just doesn’t do anything for me. Totally wouldn’t put me off |

I find me being t total is not an issue at all.
Well until they ask the reason and I tell them that I am a Muslim and then they can’t block me fast enough ?????????????? |

Not at all. I drink occasionally, but never on meets and never at clubs. I’m more likely to be put off by excessive drinking than I am someone who doesn’t drink at all. |

Someone's drink habits are their own affair it wouldn't bother me to meet someone that drinks or not. It's actually never come up in conversation about if I drink or not |

Sometimes I like to have a couple of drinks.
If I'm planning on impact play I prefer sobriety from all parties.
I don't mind if someone drinks or not, so long as they're happy and in control of themselves. |

I’d rather not have my senses dulled by the effects of alcohol when meeting, unless it’s a social meeting. If I was meeting someone who preferred to drink during or leading up to playing it wouldn’t be a deal breaker but I wouldn’t partake myself. I’m not teetotal just prefer sex to alcohol.

Interesting, seems pretty clear that it's not an issue then!
It's funny, because in civvie life, telling someone you dont drink is always met with shock and horror, you're boring, why on earth wouldn't you drink, go on, just one! |

Wouldn't put me off in the slightest. Neither Mr nor I are big drinkers anyway so it's not even a consideration. If, on the other hand, someone felt jt was acceptable to get absolutely shit faced then we wouldn't even entertain any fun with them - there's no point if you aren't going to enjoy yourself plus it opens up a whole can of worms over consent. So sober is perfectly fine

Don’t drink when meeting or at parties as prefer to be on my A game for sex and if they drink excessively then it would put me off as blurs the consent lines. If I’m out for a drink then no problem at all. |

Interesting you consider alcohol haram but not this lifestyle?
An observation nothing more |

Ah no, not military, I use civvie and vanilla interchangeably sometimes
You raise an interesting point though, I absolutely feel that the generation below me actually look down on drinking, like its a dirty habit, similar to how I feel about my parents generation that love smoking.
However, I certainly get questioned a lot by people around my age everytime it comes up that I don't drink, perhaps it's the circles I keep |

A drink or 2 would be fine IMO, but if it gets to more, as mentioned above, the lines of consent are blurred |

If at a social a few drinks are fine, hammered making others uncomfortable is a no no |

No, not at all. You don't need alcohol to have a good time.
I just like to have a couple beers, wines or cocktails when I'm out but just that, a couple.
