"Why do people not at least have a profile photo? does it hinder you on here? "
If someone's looking to meet I suspect not having one is as useful as chocolate teapot.
If they're just here for the forums then I doubt it makes much difference.

We constantly get winks or messages from no public pics profiles, we just ignore, it's sad but if there's no idea of what they look like, then well, bases of start is on defense, which when we've asked to see they got on yhe defensive...
Just easier to avoid we find, but everyone is different. |

We don't have public pictures on our profile, mainly because we don't want to be recognised but when we chat to people on here the first thing we do is send pictures of ourselves. You definitely need to know what someone looks like early on . |

It seems ridiculous to wink but have no pictures and a bio consisting of nothing but a warning to Sydney institutions etc but it happens very often.
We usually send a very sexy offer, wait an hour or two after it’s read and then block the muppet. |

Totally agree with the whole discretion argument which is why we never send face pics. But, it is quite possible to have a good variety of pictures to show others what they can expect, without being recognisable in the street. |

It has never hindered me. If people are interested, I send one. I think it works perfectly if you're the kind of man that doesnt want to be too judged on looks. |

Everyone is judged on looks, not just men.
Would you buy a car you'd never clapped eyes on? Or waste time going to view one just in case it was what you wanted?
It's no different on here. When there are so many well written, detailed profiles with photos that (even if not facial ones) give you enough of an idea about someone to at least stir a little interest, then why would you bother with something blank?
You say you send one if people are interested? How do they know they're interested if they haven't seen you?

If I’m going to share my body with someone I need to be attracted to them.
To be attracted to them initially I need at least to see body pics on a profile.
I will not even look at a profile if there aren’t any.
Why create a shop window and not display the goods? |

I agree and the Sydney institution message means nothing and in the faq it actually asks you not to put that kind of rubbish on your profiles. It doesn’t mean anything at all. |
