It is just meant to be a bit of fun, teasing between a couple. Of course loving couples do things for each other without any gain.

It just came from a comment a colleague made when her husband picked a few if us up from a night out. We thanked him, and with a twinkle in her eye she said not to worry, she would make it worth his while.
