When is it time to call it quits with swinging, both my illustrious other half and I work hard to stay in shape, early morning gym sessions, endless exercise though much as we try we cant quite stem the march of time... Lots of socials with younger couples but they appear to think that late 50's and early 60's couples should still look 45  ... and the couples our age unfortunately don't appear look after themselves much.. so is it time to call it a day? |

OP I'm a bit confused as you clearly have had meets.
It's incredibly hard to find another couple where all 4 are attracted to each other, regardless of age.
Maybe take a break for a while if you're finding it demoralising.
Clubs seem to be the best option. It works for us. |

I (Mr Wet) didn`t START in this lifestyle UNTIL I was 60. Still going strong - ish. My old man was still doing the business at 85, and would have carried on had he not died suddenly and unexpectedly . And no not from a heart attack.  . Hope it runs in the genes - shagging until I`m an even older old fart that is, not dying suddenly. |

I actually thought this was a thread about periods!
Maybe what you’re looking for is the issue? Could you reset your search parameters? We thought our ages would be an issue but are pleased to say that doesn’t seem to be the case. |

Thanks for the replies to all, we've been on fab for a while and DD before that so we're not newbies. Must say it's definitely gravitating towards the clubs these days, we may dabble with that route again but we do like the intimate approach. Probably a case of changing with the times.... |

If your not getting what you want from it then absolutely stop doing it 
In clubs for me it’s all about the initial attraction.
However for private meets the least interesting thing about someone is their looks/ body type. Sexy vibe is much more important. |

Swinging tends to give one up rather than the other way round when you reach your sixties. It is still possible to meet people but if you're not getting what you want maybe it's time to call it a day |

I'd echo what others have said. Go to clubs where people are unlikely to ask your age.
If you click with people, the numbers on your birth certificate will be completely irrelevant.

I thought of this thread this morning when I was very sharply reminded of the difference in the attitude of men towards women of my age if they aren't interested in you sexually.
On fab I'm apparently capable of all sorts of gymnastics and sexual shenanigans. I know what I want and how to get it according to fab lore.
In the real world delivery drivers ask me if they'd like them to hand me the bags so I don't have to bend down and when they see me outside tell me to "get back in the warm".
Time to put the latex away and get the fleece dressing gown and elastic waist slacks out
