'hey guys' messages from single males!

"When your profile says couples only and your gallery shows that one of you is not a guy, do you get annoyed by such messages from single blokes? Or are many of them stupid and/or d*unk?"
We have addressed this issue in our profile, but just to save you having to read the whole thing, here is our advice, which we have copied and pasted.
Oh - and one other thing - for those that keep mentioning, ad nauseam, on their profiles - "NO SINGLE MALES." (They don`t take any fucking notice anyway). There really is a very simple solution - go to Message Filters on the menu on the left hand side, click on it, and Block Males. No more messages from single males AND you won`t even be able to see if they`ve looked at you (unless of course you need your egos massaging, which, clearly, a lot of people obviously do.) SCHIMPLES.

Not wanting to be tarred with the same brush I'm personally very respectful of folks requests, if it says no single males I'll leave alone just the same with age limits 60 is a limit, just because I'm only a couple of years older doesn't give me the right to ignore those wishes even if I think I might be a good fit.

Why would they be stupid?
Language evolves, I'd argue that "hey guys" is in many ways used as a gender neutral term to describe a group of 2 or more people (whether it's an appropriate term is a different debate) and hardly seems an outrageous term to use. I'd be surprised if no couple has ever used the term too
Or you could just block single men? |

Change your settings so you don’t have to be bombarded with unwanted messages.
I can only imagine what kind of harassment you ladies and couples get but I do know that not everyone is the same so hopefully we’re not all tarnished with the same brush x |

It seems as if everyone and their dog (not a real dog, just a figure of speech. Like "guys") wants to complain about being messaged by guys on here. Just block it, ignore it or reply saying no thanks (totally not expected btw, it's rare to get a no thanks message)
Really though, complaining guys message you, and use the term "guys"? Or are you complaining they say "hey" too? There's literally nothing a guy can do right on here if these daily threads are anything to go by. People get allsorts of abuse in here, let's deal with that, instead of getting offended by a nice harmless message, sorry it must be hard to be so popular  |

just put your age limit to 98/99 and nobody can message you...... Then you just select who you want to message |
