Am I doing something wrong?

First off, this is not me being entitled. Fabbers have the right to meet or not meet for whatever reason they see fit.

My query stems from an observation - the last three conversations i have had on here that got to the point of discussing meeting up have all gone well. Photos exchanged, likes/dislikes, hoped for outcome and so on.

Now, I prefer to let the lady decide when and where the first meet takes place so she can pick somewhere she knows and feels safe. So I send a message saying when I am free etc, I get a response saying "great, I'll let you know"

And then, nothing. I'm not pushy so I dont send endless follow ups but the exact same thing has happened three times on the trot, at the same part of the conversation.

Am I committing some inadvertent breach of fan etiquette?

Maybe you should try suggesting a time & place to meet rather than leaving in her hands?

This! Start the ball rolling then she can suggest alternatives if needed.

Carlisle usually

I find the best thing to do is not leave it open ended. Either or is good. If you give someone two choices they'll usually have a preference for one over the other.

it's just fab for you... Unfortunately, no shows, ghosting, time wasters all exist on hear not to mention the fact that even on the days of a meet something can happen in the other person's life that means they can't make it...

Up until last weekend we went 10months without a meet that wasn't a group social. All we could say is hunker down and as long as you are still enjoying fab then keep trying

Maybe it's coincidence, maybe not. But if something isn't working why not change it?

I kind of have made suggestions of places and times I'm free, so guess it's just bad luck. I do have abha it of inadvertently causing offence. I was chatting to someone on tinder once and it was going g very well. I made the observation that I thought she was fit. She instantly blocked me...

You said it yourself

"Fabbers have the right to meet or not meet for whatever reason they see fit."

and don't owe you an explanation either.

He's not looking for an explanation he's asking for advice where he's possibly going wrong.

Alot of women like the man to lead, they can always say no or they can give another time, at least you will get an answer

Patience is key.

Sometimes it can take months for diaries to align in this secret lifestyle.

‘Real life’ comes first. Everyone has families, work, routines etc.

If they are worth it, they’re worth waiting for.

Don’t be too pushy.

On the other hand, some people just need telling straight: where and when

As has been said if what your doing isn't working out time to change tact. I'm not saying become pushy but maybe suggest 1 or 2 options and times rather than leave it totally in their hands
