I don't wear tights that often, they are either with a short skirt for work or daily normal activities, or thin glossy tights to be ripped at the top of the legs, (crotch is such an ugly word to me), in a interesting scenario....

Never ever wear tights, only stockings and mainly seamed. either tan/natural with black seam cuban heel or black with black seam. the odd fishnet one too again has to be seamed though, for me it complete the look.
