I don’t want to eat food in front of someone I’m trying to impress so it would be just a couple of drinks for us in a bar. I’ve done coffee shop meets but never feels very sexy so a bar is better.

A short lunchtime drink for about an hour in a nice local pub is enough for us to get to know someone.
If they bottle it we can still have a good lunch then go home and fuck each other for the afternoon. |

I agree drinks for first social. I tend to disagree that food makes it a date. But it can make it difficult to extract yourself if you find you actually don't connect with the other person and want to leave. |
