Bad verifications

Wish we had the option to give someone a bad verification to show on their profile if someone is fake, a time waster or worse.
I know we can report profiles… but I think having the ability to say negative about someone could warn others from making a mistake.

Don’t like the person so just leave a bad veri so other don’t meet them
Didn’t come to mine at 2am in the morning bad veri left

This is a valid point.
Surely there should be a way to share negative experiences for the benefit of others. Understandably it wouldn't be right to call them offensive personal names but to explain your reasons for feeling unhappy should be allowed..

If the reason is clearly factual..like didn't turn up as agreed or something that might help someone else to be at least aware of in the future then that could be useful.
It's not helpful or useful to say general things like you didn't like them etc.. |

I’d like to think us all as adults and silly play ground tactics wouldn’t be used by being petty with stupid feedback such as what you listed …. But to warn others that someone is fake or a total time waster who plays games by catfishing.
Really doesn’t help genuine people out there not knowing because I’m pretty sure so many people have had bad experiences

Shellebelle arranged to meet us, we booked a really expensive hotel and train tickets to get there, put our 6 children in private childcare for the weekend, our 14 poodles in the luxury kennels.....and when they turned up at the hotel room...they turned out to be two 80 year old twin brothers from Belgium called Fred and Bertrand. And one had no legs.

We'd be happy with that, been messed around a few times (not in the way we'd hoped) however vindictive negative verifications in return or from rejected parties? (Your word against an all..) Just as Google reviews you'd be stuck with them..   |

Yep, all of the above, considering the abuse that some members get when they get a no-thanks message, it would take exactly 5 seconds for fake negative reviews to come pouring in.
Because, as Slipknot accurately pointed out, People Equal Shit.
The reporting system isn't perfect but it's better than the alternative. |

Many people are too petty for this to be a function.
I mean someone changes a mind on meeting they are labelled a time waster, they are not a time waster they just don't want to meet everyone is entitled to change their minds.
Someone stops speaking/messaging again labeled a time waster, again they aren't they just don't want to talk anymore, absolutely reasonable
Don't get a reply or get a polite no thanks to be left a negative review as they think there something entitled to sleep with you, they are not.
See where this goes, unfortunately not the best idea due to it being abused.

Some men (I say men because it's who I deal most with) think that your fake if you don't want to meet them, and not answering the one and only message they send is ghosting.

i agree that a negative voting system would be open to abuse, but there should be a way to report people who maliciously arrange meets for the wrong address or similar.
Even if they create new accounts there should be enough information on the server logs to make a decent attempt at permanently banning them. |

We once gave a negative rating on trip adviser it was a true frank and explict.
It ended up, with a cyber threat to ourselves, our business and additional security for our business, change of all our login ids security back up names for both ourselves and business contacts. Lost business hours, and in opening a criminal proceedings in two countries. It lead health issues for both of us and few thousand in lost earnings.
All this was meant to be to save others from being hurt by others.
We now simply dont give reviews unless we are able to find something nice to say.
Just so your aware of what may come from what on the face of it is well meaning.

It's a good idea in thought, but in reality it wouldn't work. Think about all the Negatives from the guys who can't take rejection would leave for the women and couples for simply turning them down. |
