What's people max on travelling for private/hotel meets? Personally I set mine to about 100miles. Completely depends on the person.

Somewhere in Co. Down

About a 40 mins drive. And I would expect the other person to travel as well. The only exception would be if it was someone I already had met or if I was travelling in that direction anyhow .

No distance is too far for the right person. But I’ll only travel if I have met them before.

Sounds about right. Clubs of course are an exception.

As I don't own a vehicle, walking distance for me or accommodate.

Within an hour max... If people happen to be rolling through and we're feeling it, sure but really don't care for people driving/flying hours just to meet. Sex is never worth that bollox imo

For us , any thing above a 60 minute car journey to meet another couple ( unless we’ve meet and played at clubs previously ) becomes a bit of a journey , than a pleasure trip. Longer journeys ( upto two hours) for clubs, we consider ok.

No more than an hour and I'd expect the woman to meet half way if it was further than that.

I've driven 3 hours each way before and there was an expectation that because I'd done it once there was nothing to stop me doing it again on a regular basis.

I wouldn't go far ,not for someone I'd not met before.

It's a social only anyway first meet.

You only have to look at all the threads about people not showing up ,it would put me off travelling too far.

Yes that's off putting, I guess a first meet probably isn't ideal, but known or a regular perhaps further afield

We prefer not to meet near home so we will travel up to an hour. Would do longer for someone we knew well or if we were making a weekend of it anyway, so going to a club or group social.

Kx

We wouldn't have a limit as we like to travel and see new areas, so we'd make a weekend of it with some sightseeing etc.

I want a partner so I have a rule, if it's too far for getting together frequently it's a no.

Early on I had a guy mess me about talking big about distance being no object. How he'd happily drive up from the south for a coffee. No matter how many times I said it was too far or offered to meet halfway he said he'd love to come up. Lots of big talk about how he drives it often for work, not too far, blah blah blah.

Never happened....

Why?

Too far for a coffee social apparently

Ridiculous nonsense... horny head v sensible head

But if they live a distance away how would you meet in the first instance?

Bit of a risk, isn’t it? Unless that was the place you intended to spend your next holiday. Or was on the cards.

A risk as in they wouldn’t turn up? Video calls and phone calls beforehand plus a good time chatting so never doubted it but at the end of the day if they hadn’t turned up I would have just explored the city……. Sightseeing, coffee and all that

Damn right, too. If the desire and the trust are both there, why the fuck not?

I live in the middle of nowhere. Literally.

Its 30 minutes to civilisation so anything up to 3 hours is totally fine.

We’ve met a couple from about five hours away a few times. We pick a different place each time that works out about halfway.

If it’s someone new I’d say 30 miles tops

Depends on the people but if we all really get on then we don’t mind a dirty weekend away anywhere in the UK

We often accommodate overnight, when the weather is good not the worst place to be, most folks don’t mind traveling if they can chill and have a drink with there fun.
