How to work out a fake from a real profile, I’ve been speaking to someone today and it just seems too real to be true! Should that be enough of a reason to think it a fake profile? What are the tell tale signs?

Plan a facetime with them.
Advise them that you feel it's too good to be true and you need a "pinch" to make sure it's real.
If they do not pick up the call or make excuses, move on I think |

I think verifications help and have a verified account, you could also ask them to take a photo holding something of your choice, or get them to write something random on a piece of paper and take a picture xx |

We met our best friends on here and thought they were fake! They really are too good to be true but here we are nearly 2 years, 2 holidays, endless family parties etc etc later and thank god we were wrong!!
We are much better now at spotting them x |
