ive been shocked by some of the messages ive had in the last few days this is people wanting to meet but the messages are so abusive its incredible just to repeat this is people wanting to meet lol so abusive disrespectful and entitled ...think people should read what they write before they send and to think they want to meet lol no chance |

They probably think they being sexy and taking charge but really have no idea what they are doing!

Gyms have a new year's rush of new members who want to get fit... But won't succeed.
I guess fab also had a rush of new men whose new year's Resolution was to get laid... And also won't succeed.
There are also a minority of people who seem to confuse this site with some kind of sex worker shop window and think that because they are paying a subscription it will guarantee success. Pretty much all the dodgy unpleasant or zero effort messages we receive come from "gold" site members. |

I guess fab also had a rush of new men whose new year's Resolution was to get laid... And also won't succeed.
There are also a minority of people who seem to confuse this site with some kind of sex worker shop window and think that because they are paying a subscription it will guarantee success. Pretty much all the dodgy unpleasant or zero effort messages we receive come from "gold" site members."

I have a theory that a lot of these abusive or rude guys actually lack any real social skills at all offline, probably porn being where they learned about sex (rather than with someone). |

I'm not sure what is the most offensive.
The abusive messages.
The lack of grammar.
Or the messages that just say "Hi". Which wouldn't be so bad if there profile wasn't completely blank. Xxx |

And that's a real shame. We have had to block single guys from messaging us for this exact reason, which kind of spoils our fun as we would love to have fun with a guy or two from time to time, maybe even get to know someone who could be a regular FWB.

i disagree they ruin it for themselves and nobody else nobody is missing out because of another guys behaviour they are missing out because people are not interested in them ... its so easy for anyone to say they are one of the good ones or geniune or respectful yet its often these that say this that are at fault too |

As has been said so many times on here, no one can influence your success or lack of on here apart from you.
Blaming other men because you may find it hard is seen as lazy and unimaginative.
For example, I've just typed this forum post and some may not agree with it at all and feel I am a dick but none of that reflects on you because you didn't write it.
Many people, not just men, send idiotic messages and most of those believe they are genuine and respectful also. |

These folks who are being rude and nasty on messages on here, bet 98% won’t go into a club social scene to actually interact and meet people.
It’s just getting straight to playing but also the social side of it which is just as important

It's a bit depressing that single men who are polite and decent are bound to suffer the consequences of others less so. It seems pretty much a given that we'll become ever more vilified, more demonised, more marginalised and looked down upon beyond the boiling undercurrent of distrust and disdain we're already subject to... and the worst of it is that it's sort of understandable. The thing to remember is that in real life we encounter that random guy that always picks a fight in a bar or on the street.. the screaming d*unk woman with vomit on her shoes... the person yelling incoherently at a shop worker... The super annoying twats on public transport... The people that struggle to hang together a grammatically correct spoken sentence let alone write it down.
As fab is a cross section of our society, expect some of those people to stumble across your path here. And just like down the local town center at kicking out time they will be the vocal minority that everyone tries to avoid.
I try to give people a pass on bad grammar because mine isn't great.. but remember it's asking about a "meet" not "meat", totally different and a bit serial killer! |

It's not a new thing. There are some very sad and deluded people around here but they're just an annoying minority. |
