Can any of you other couples give us a little feedback on our profile? We are relatively new to the site, and our hit rate is fairly low locally. Just wondered if we were putting anyone off.?? |

Actually that is not how it was intended. We are just curious to know why our profile is receiving a low hit count. Thats all. If there is something that needs tweaking, or something in it that is putting people off, we would like to make sure its corrected. |

Oh lets just drop it eh? Christ, all we asked as newbies to a new site for us, was a little feedback on our profile. Its was NOT supposed to scream "look at us" - more a way of correcting anything that would put others off. |

Maybe you didnt read it correctly? Is clearly states, not looking for single guys. But couples or single fems in the age range as stated. |

this could indicate that the OP will play with men,along with women...at the same time.but not with lone males...hence the block (and it also means the OP can choose who they decide to mail rather than having single men mails)
its pretty standard..if u look at a good few profiles. |

Profile text looks fine to me. Bit long maybe and hard to read on a mobile phone so that could contribute to the low hit rate. Fab advises to not include the legal warning at the end of your profile so deleting that would make it shorter. We re wrote and tweaked our profile quite a few times until we were happy with it. good luck! Ms x |

What's the point in the male wearing a scuba thing on his face!!!! Just show your face to people your interested in.
And for me your profile words are way way to long, most people haven't got time or the patience to read it more so when your opening with what you don't want. |

Hello female half of a couple here.
Firstly you will find that the cut and thrust of these fora involves a few posts that either are or apppear to be aggressive, don't rise to it  also asking for answers from only one section of the membership will get peoples backs up all opinion is useful even if it only serves to reinforce the one you already hold
On to your profile, you describe yourselves.... eventually, as laid back but start your profile with text in uppercase and go on to itemise what you won't accept I find this quite off putting it makes me feel that you have taken against me before you even know me. I know that friend invites and meet requests from people you have never interacted with can get annoying but you are complaining about low traffic on your profile and that implies that you have too much!
The rest of your profile looks ok to me and your pictures are nice. try chatting in the fora, if you reply to a few threads people will look at your profile out of interest (I know I do) and this will get things moving a bit.

im sorry as newbies u have come on the forum 4 advise and got some wht jumped on, i see this alot and some people are just bloody rude. at least u didnt rise and handled it better than those who feel the need to be so rude. come on guys ffs  |

I also agree with what someone else has said and remove the picture with the mask, along with the disclaimer as its not true.
If you want more information on profile writing, so to speak, there has been loads of advice given on the Introductions forum but I do agree with what was also said, no matter how long or how short your profile is, few read it and I am onto my 9th rewrite in as many weeks  |

a different angle is to write to all the people who have met you, verified you and ask them for advice... they will know if your profile matches who you are and in a possible better position than strangers...

Looks ok to us , tells most people what you're looking for so wouldn't worry too much tbh.
It seems to go in fits and starts for lots of people with a flurry of activity then quiet etc.
Just keep your profile fresh by changing wording / pics fairly regularly and you'll be fine
