Is it us or are there an increasing number of time wasters on the site now , especially since covid. It’s mostly single guys it has to be said and making us considering leaving as life is too short ! |

I noticed a lot more new people on the site since lockdown and I think therefore the ratio of wankers oooops sorry I meant time wasters and pic collectors has increased. As is said frequently, it just makes us genuine single guys look better but unfortunately it also has a negative effect on others such as your lovely selves whereby they waste your precious time and energies and make you think twice about leaving this wonderful community. |

Stick to verified clubs people (even if outside a club) and it’s rarely a a problem if at all.
As long as people are clear about why they are here… being here just for cyber is fine- people don’t have to meet  x |

Honestly no idea if there are any more than normal because in 6 years here I've never met it chatted to anyone I would consider a timewaster. I've never had a no show or been one and my definition of a timewaster is someone who wastes their own time by not reading my profile. They certainly aren't wasting my time. |

i agree i have chatted for a few weeks arranged a meet they have agreed then come the excuse and drop off chat or even worse agree to meet at a place or a pub then no show |

cant remember the last time i was let down but then i so strict on my selection process and i use the best tool that is the block button..
if you keep getting let down then its down to the way you pick your meet .. 99% of wasters are so easy to spot |

Yes unfortunately we have been let down on a few occasions by single guys. It cost us time and money when they didn’t turn up and is very frustrating. We try to pick guys now who have a good few verifications etc to try and out the wasters |

Not sure how much you can do to avoid that... They say the same as the people that show up. Also had men that I've met for socials, exchanged numbers, allegedly been on their way to the meet, not turn up... *Shrugs* that's a them thing, not a me thing. They could just say they've changed their mind at any point! |

99% of women only find 20% (or work it out yourself. Out of a hundred messages on average how many are you replying too. Probably lower on here) if you find them attractive most other women do too. So many blanket negative statements about men on here but most of you don't interact with 90% of men on here. There's literally hundreds of men avarage on here that would run naked to your house if you asked them but they don't qualify for a look. This is most of you not just the pretty ones. So many fat girls who only want gym type and complain about the type of guys on here ???????????????????????????? |

The time wasters you speak of and I’m sure there’s loads of them, make it near on impossible for genuine single guys like me. I’ve only been on Fab a few months. I follow all the rules regards respect etc, but people won’t come near me because of the idiots you’re talking about… |

We've responded to meet adverts only to be strung along for many messages. We've even come across a single woman posing as a couple. We've noticed than even couples with genuine verifications from the past can be time wasters. We put this down to the male half not checking with the female half as to whether they want to meet or not. |

Your profile implies that you’re not really that interested in meeting single guys, so that would put off any single guys who are serious about meeting to even message you. If most of the time wasters are single guys but you’re more interested in females, couples and groups of guys, then why are you considering leaving the site because of it? Why don’t you just focus on the people you’re more interested in meeting? |

It’s why I’m extremely selective and take time to get a feel for someone, to see if they genuinely want to meet.
I’ve been on here 6 years and over time luckily I know what to look for. A lot of them give themselves away, within the first few messages.

Just because some women could have a meet quicker than a man who is looking could. It doesn’t mean anything quite frankly. Because she most likely wouldn’t find anyone, that quickly to match her preferences. She might get a lot more offers than a man would be she has her right to be as picky as she wants.

Do you have preferences or would you sleep with anyone? I consider myself average to just below average looking but I still have preferences, and they’re not all to do with looks.
You’ve basically implied that obese women should settle for anything they can get rather than only meeting men they’re attracted to and that average looking men will meet anyone at the drop of a hat…I don’t believe either of those are true. |
