I was very fortunate to have been a “ boyfriend” of a couple for 10 years. This started off as a one night meet and developed over time. It became a regular Wednesday night date. Sometimes staying in and sometimes going out for meals etc. Communication is key. I didn’t meet them in school holidays etc as they had grand children to look after. It’s mutually beneficial. We own a few businesses and find the process similar to hiring staff. Trying to get a good fit that works for everyone is difficult and doesn't happen over night. Some training required CV's have to be fully investigated.
Also, we had a few nutjobs in work that simply aren't worth it and got a P45 even though they started out well. Time reveals everything.
