This is not a light hearted or tantalising thread. You have been warned.

The term Queen of Spades is offensive.

I find it to be a supremacists fantasy. Fortunately for users of the term, some men genuinely think with their dicks.

Just imagine what would happen if you went up to a black guy and called him a Spade!!!

Some men will sell themselves out just to get up in some pum pum. Others may just by some slim possibility not recognise the actual connotation of this term.

But for those that don’t know, Spade disgusting racial slur on par with the N word, c**n and such.

Now you know. Continue as you please.

I just felt the need to put it out there before you shag the elephant in the room.

Please excuse my ignorance (naivety), but what is QOS?

Other than in reference to a pack of cards, ive never heard it used.

It doesn't sound particularly PC...so im reluctant to Google search it.

I met a guy in a club once - lovely chap. We chatted for over an hour before playing. When I went to verify him afterwards I noticed that every verification focused on his penis size, prowess, physique etc. I focussed as much on his personality as his penis. He didn’t show the verification. Guessing he didn’t think his personality mattered!

So if that fetishbwas called 'Queen of N-word' would that be ok too?

There seem to be two aspects to what the OP is saying. Firstly, there's the questionable fetish itself. And then there's the fact that the OP has informed us that many people find the word used as offensive as the N word.

So, yeah, offence caused!

Individual fetishism of people, between consenting adults is fine if its a dynamic that works for those involved. But actively seeking the sexualisation of a group of people has always made me feel uncomfortable. I've never really been able to put a finger on it, but this thread has really helped with nailing it down.

The whole QoS, BBC, Snowbunny(ie?) thing, even extending to BBW, and even how DDlg is becoming just seems to give licence mainstream objectification.

Personally, when I am looking at porn, the moment I see race fetishised (BBC, QOS, the old "look at my wife fucking this big black man" bullshit) I move on. But thats just me. It doesnt flick my switch but it obviously works for others. Live and let live.

Why should we let them?

If someone used the N word on here they'd get a ban. If out in public they could be in trouble with the police. These new terms are offensive in exactly the same way.

Ignoring the issues does not stop it from happening.

And if they say it in bed my dick gets hard . Everyone has different levels of things they accept. If it’s not directly affecting you.. leave people be

That is your choice and fair enough in the bedroom where people are all consenting but we are discussing use in public and open forums. That's a very different thing.

It may turn you on but it offends others. "

Can you provide a link to a forum discussion using this term, please?

If as the OP has mentioned certain ladies on FAB have it tattooed on them that is their choice and we should be tolerant of those people, no?

But it's perfectly possible to express an interest in interracial sex without resorting to offensive/racist epithets.

"I don’t think we should stigmatise QOS BBC etc as usually it’s used in an endearing way and not offensively.

How do you know how its being used or the thinking behind it? Extending your logic it would be OK to refer to black people by the N word, provided the intent was endearing? "

The n word is harsh to use publicly but some might like it in the bedroom. Most know this and wouldn’t use it publicly. The reason I know it’s not used offensively is because QOS ladies love black men, why would they offend them purposely? Calling someone BBC usually makes a guy feel good, as most men like to feel as if they have a big appendage. Just can’t see it being used to offend. The history of the phrases may have offensive undertones but in my opinion it shouldn’t in a forum like this

Don’t think that logical extension works at all. There are plenty of women (and men) who love to be called slut, whore, bitch and any number of mysoginistic terms in the bedroom because they find them to be sexually exciting in that context, with that person or people. It doesn’t mean they think it’s okay for someone to call them that in the street, affectionately or more likely not.

I don't doubt it but I was referring to the poster's reference to intent, which appeared to justify the use of offensive language generally provided the intent isn't offensive.

I'm afraid I'm struggling to understand how a conversation like this is still required in the 21st Century.

You're making lots of assumptions about how black men think which only serves to perpetuate crass stereotypes.

My husband's black and detests the term BBC (as do most black men I know) especially when it's applied to a human being and not just their genitals.

If you enjoy being referred to that way, that's absolutely fine, but terms such as 'spade', 'bbc' etc shouldn't be used to describe black men generally.

It wasn't supposed to be a comparison; it's about tolerating a culture of ignorance.

Maybe this is a better example of ignoring things that seem harmless: a work colleague gets ribbed by his work mates, he doesn't like it, everyone ignores it because its harmless banter and it not hurting anyone. So the banter continues and it continues to be ignored. Then the colleague feels that they have to quit their job.

Enough people on here are saying that it isn't acceptable; don't we all want a site where every one feels comfortable, and where they don't have to tolerate racist terms just because these terms are considered harmless by some?

"Please excuse my ignorance (naivety), but what is QOS?

Other than in reference to a pack of cards, ive never heard it used.

It doesn't sound particularly PC...so im reluctant to Google search it.

Queen of Spades

Yeah, i read that in your initial post.

But what's the reference as to adult sites?

It sounds like im not the only one who's never heard of it before.

Oh sorry. There are women here who call themselves this. Some even have a tatoo with a Spade (as in the deck of card symbol) with a Q in it.

Others have it as a name or a claim to fame.

It’s only on here that I’ve seen women using it.

I've seen it starting to creep into porn sites too. Personally I don't like it myself.

I have met with black guys before but because I liked the person not just the colour of his skin.

Why do we even need to highlight someone's skin colour? "

It’s OK to have a preference.

I don’t have a problem with people that state no black or Asian as well as those that state black only and even go as far as BBC (Big Black Cock). If you like and want a Big Black Cock then by all means say so.

There’s no need to use a derogatory term to say you like black men.

People have tried to say BBC is on par with Queen of Spades. As stated in the original post if you feel it inoffensive then go up to ANY black person and call them a Spade and see what happens. But do so at your own peril.

Then go up to a black guy and say show me your big black cock and see the difference.

However if you call someone a cock, prick or dick it doesn’t matter what size you’re referring to it could most definitely be deemed derogatory. But then it goes into the realm of context.

Someone PM’d me saying that I was verified by BBC Lovin Bitches and said I couldn’t therefore complain. They asked my to explain how that can be OK but had already blocked me before I could reply.

If these women want to call themselves Bitches That’s up to them. But I definitely know that the word Bitch is derogatory and I would never use it unless I was asked. The same way I wouldn’t spank or spit on anybody unless they wanted me to.

I could go on but I hope it would be enough for those with brains. Those without have a whole different set if problems that I’m not qualified to deal with.

"This is not a light hearted or tantalising thread.

Respect people’s preferences but not like that.

I say this respect and the belief that intelligent people can have different views.

I have learnt from life especially from religious folk that just because someone states something in a didactic manner and claims the high moral ground it does not necessarily make them right.

So in regard to the BBC thing and QOS, I look at peoples' intent and not merely at the words. Most of the women I have met that use QOS are lovely people just like the BBCLB's. We have to distinguish people from the terms.

If you want to look into an explanation of the term QOS have a listen to the podcast Venus Cuckoldress, the episode "The Truth about the Spade" and the explanation of how the term QOS came about. Personally, I don't agree with the explanation, but as the term derived from the States, I am not an expert in American slang.

Do I think the term is racist? No. Do I think it's stupid? Yes. A big difference.

However, do these things affect me economically, socially, politically? No. The whole swinging thing is an optional extra to life.

The other point is that as someone into bdsm and kink I have no issue with fetish play between consenting adults. Even if it includes "raceplay". It is not my kink but l defend the right of consenting adults to do so, just not in front of me. That includes the true black masters and their views of superiority.

I can understand that people find these things stupid or offensive but they are not a violation. There is a choice not to engage, which is not there when stopped by the police for bogus reasons.

I agree - to me it’s offensive. However - a LOT of black guys on the site seem willing to debase themselves by referring to themselves constantly as ‘bbc’ - a term I was unaware of pre-fab.

As I said in a previous post - I met a gorgeous guy who declined to show the veri I gave him because it focused on his intelligence/personality rather than his cock/performance.

Many, many black guys are apparently happy to perpetuate this phenomena by going to bmfc nights etc - as are the ‘queens of spades’ with their tattoo’s.

I can’t see this disappearing any time soon tbh op.

I wonder how the white women who enjoy meeting black men feel about being labelled as being racist for their preference?

There are many threads about people refusing to meet others from different races as being racist. When people do want to meet others from different races, they are also labelled racist.

Is it only the term QOS that is offensive or is it the whole scene that people are bothered by?

Their preference isn’t racist, unless they prefer to meet black men because they think they are inferior due to the colour of their skin.

However, some of the terms they are using to describe themselves and their preferences are racist.

It's a very good thread op. I'm trying to understand , accepting that people have different opinions about it. But it seems that generally we say... Someone feels something is racist and therefore wrong and we must address it. And in the qos term some seem OK with it and some are offended by it, (I personally would think it's grossly offensive) but because its a swinging thing, we say it's a preference and we are OK with it perpetuating? Is there a level of hypocrisy there.?

If you are out in public as a black person and someone called you a spade then it would be considered racist and potentially a criminal offence. There is no non-harmful racism, even if it gets you laid there is still a consequence. It might not be immediate or apparent to you.

"Just let people be and dont try to police it. If people want to use those terms then let them.

Can you provide a link to a forum discussion using this term, please?

If as the OP has mentioned certain ladies on FAB have it tattooed on them that is their choice and we should be tolerant of those people, no?"

Yes we should be tolerant but where do we draw the line. Would it be ok for people to display swastika on this public yet private forum as they may want to meet other racist people for swinging.

If there are black people who get off on being called 'spade' or white people who enjoy referring to them as such in the privacy of their own homes, then get on with it, they can fill each others boots.

The point is it shouldn't be accepted in the common vernacular to describe black people or celebrated publicly to satisfy anybody's fetish.

"Some people need to chill its just a preference. Are we going to also ban guys from using the phrase PAWG as i could find that racially offensive.

I see anything that refers to someone's race on here as wrong and potentially offensive.

Anyone I see or who messages me asking for a PAWG gets blocked.

But as part of fetish play, as long as all consenting wouldn’t it be wrong to kink shame people? Even if you find their kinks abhorrent?

Some kinks are awful in my opinion, abusing men or women. Some causing actual bodily harm. We are told that kink shaming is bad, but I imagine that ther could be some awfully racist roleplay that goes on.

There are plenty of fetishes that can be deemed offensive."

its ok to have a opinion but its not ok to kink shame (not saying you have) the thing with kink is its a 2 way thing its always about consent so pain and humiliation is alway pre consented its what they want no one can say thats wrong but its ok to say its not for you

Like enjoying calling your sexual partner degrading and demeaning words to the extent that it enhances an orgasm. The irony is that swinging mandate means my statement is ‘kink shaming’ and not okay. But the degrading treatment is fine.

You’ve misunderstood, the phrase is used by white women who enjoy having sex with black men. It is not a phrase used by black women.

You’ve never ‘consented’ to anything that in a different context (fear of being alone, internalised sexism, emotional abuse, wanting to belong, self esteem issues ) that you would not have agreed to?

But isn’t that their choice? If we’re talking kink shaming or body shaming or any kind of preference shaming would we ban the use of BBC, BBW, SSBBW, Hung male, Slut, cumdump etc? If the use of these terms are used within consenting groups is it offensive?

No you can't really compare.

We are not talking about kink or preference shaming.

As someone else has already stated if you use the word "spade" towards a black person in public you could potentially be prosecuted as it is classed as a racial slur. Why should it suddenly be allowed because someone classes it as a kink?

About 3 feet away from the fence

Given what it's being used for, "Queen of Spades" does seem a bit much. Although I don't think it's any worse than the way many people use "BBC" on here and elsewhere, which I also find uncomfortable.

Well you'd be entitled to, if you really wanted to.

Im more offended by the grammar (Phat arse white girls). Oh yes, i had to google it. Another term ive never heard of.

But what word would you claim to be offended by?? Phat or white??

If its white. I have a simple test.

Stand in a busy town centre high street. Then point at white people and call them 'white'.

Then, when you see black people, call them 'spade'. See if you notice any difference in their reactions.

Spade is very offensive racist word. And its obvious it offends the OP.

And id think a majority of reasonable people would think the same.

Being offended on someone else's behalf gives credibility to a grievance, it's how society progresses.

Often when the subject of a racist remark complains about it they're denounced..they have 'a chip on their shoulder'.

Your approach would still have women denied the vote and children forced to climb up chimneys, but I'm sure if someone called your mother a c*** you'd soon be offended on her behalf.

"This is not a light hearted or tantalising thread.

"

while I get what yiaubare saying, of you point at a women and call her a dirty cum slut, youd get a reaction closer to spade than white.

There is context.

This one is difficult because I do feel uncomfortable, but also see no end of QoS having success in their fetish. So it's not a blanket offensive term in the context of swinging. Like slut.

It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so fucking what."

Absolutely love his common sense approach to PC brigade.

There are a couple of similar quotes that spring to mind:

‘How arrogant are you to think that you deserve to go through life with no one ever saying anything that you don't agree with or like?’ - Ricky Gervais

‘In order to be able to think, you have to risk being offensive.’ - Jordan Peterson
