Post a meet then go offline… why?

Seeing a lot of this recently.
Couples etc will post a same day meet then almost immediately go offline - like all day. I don’t get why they would do that? Maybe someone could enlighten me?
Also seen an increase in couples stating they will be at a club (daytime not a club night) state the time etc then a no show. I get that life happens but it seems to be the same culprits every time…

Oh I don’t worry - as a single male on fab if I get 1 reply for every 100 messages sent then I consider myself lucky… 
And yes there are some very strange cookies on here that’s for sure. |

Don't know about the meet/online thing, but some clubs give a discount if you create an event and/or put it in your status 24hours before, with no obligation to actually go.....we've received this benefit before.
We also know one couple who (according to them) are such a draw that at least two clubs have previously asked them to post that they were going, even though they weren't, to get others to go.

I'd not expect to check and respond to messages immediately, nor stay onsite, until I get the right contacts made.
Unless its for an almost immediate meet, with a very short time frame, then I'd assume people will get on with their other life. Some may expect to get hundreds of messages, perhaps to only find 1 suitable person. Admin at their own pace |

We have done it a couple of times after getting let down on the morning of a meet, we like to arrange things together but we were both at work all day so we responded to any messages when we got in from work. |

i sometimes post a meet for later that day then log off as im at work and look in a few times over the day but ill alway state that im at work and will answer later .... people do work and /or have family needs too we are not all free 24/7
+ i clearly state i never meet during the day monday to friday ..
also those that are looking for a meet that day are not saying to anyone person that they will meet them they are simply saying they are looking ... same for those who say they will be at a club that day is not a invite for all ..
i could put the meet sign up every day of the week and find nothing that tickles my fancy yet others see that as me time wasting because i wont go with them ..big difference between looking ..finding..and accually playing |

I get people organising something for much later or even next day but these meets generally have something like ‘meet this afternoon’ or ‘lunchtime meet, missus is horny’ etc etc
Then next log in is at 10pm lol. |

Maybe they found who they were looking for so no need to stay online. Maybe someone they're in contact with already by other means came through for them. |

All feasible reasons..
Just to reiterate It’s not something that keeps me up at night shouting at the moon.
Just a few select couples & single females I’ve seen do it very very regularly. And just wondered what they get out of it. |
