I’ve find it very difficult on here to find someone that likes Asian Guys. Soon as you mention your Asian the lights goes off.

There are a very few that like to talk to me but nothing more, hence why I’ve hidden my profile and given up.

This has always given me a complex, being mixed Asian I was always not Asian enough for one side of my family and too Asian for the other half, stuck in a limbo of what my identity truly is.

I find it the similar on here too, get some really nice converstions regardless of skin tone and then you also get a message saying oh you’re hot but I wish you weren’t Asian cos I don’t meet them.

I get that everyone has a preference but having a preconceived assumption of a person by their skin colour doesn’t seem to sit right with me.

So for me i can’t change what others think of me, what I can do is keep being myself, be kind and respectful to anyone that I come across.

The thing is on here you are just a profile with a unknown person behind it. You may be genuine or not, it's a gamble for the person reading it. A lot of fakes, badly behaved gents makes it difficult for the genuine blokes on here.

Now if you are Asian, all that is a plus. You also have to understand that most folks are ignorant because they don't know anything about the culture and lifestyle other than what's read or seen in the media.

I am sure in the real world you will not have a problem with the opposite sex.

Keep your chin up, stay positive, honest profile, decent pics and just be a gent and keep trying. I have had 3 meets on here and they all went well.

Just recently was talking to a lady for over a week and she seemed really keen. Wanted it as a blind meet then when we decided to swap pics the day before the meet and guess what, it went stale and dead lol.

I can’t believe someone would post something so ridiculously racist and not be challenged.

It doesn’t help that many of the Asian guys responding themselves assume that they don’t don’t stand a chance with white women. That kind of negative mental attitude is likely to put women off, even if they were/are physically attracted to them.

Tbf, I know and met many people from all different races and I am attracted to their attitude, physical appearance and personality. You can't be just attracted to them just because they are a certain race. If you are, it's pretty shallow response. But if I don't like them, don't I have the right to decline? Just because they want sex and asked me on fab? Don't I have the right to decline? This is the attitude that gives men a bad reputation, expecting every woman they see on fab as easy and will sleep with them just because they want them... it's ridiculous as in real life, it just wouldn't happen like that?! Btw added information, I dated two asian men in the past and yes it was terrible experience. (I met alot of Asian men and have female asian friends too.) But you can say that about any man, regardless of their race, having terrible experience with. Challenge me

Correct, they're fine as friends and i known plenty in the past but would never date or have sex with one again. My choice and the issue I have is people pull the race card out when I say it because they don't like what i say. But I can choose who i want to be with. So think it's none of their business if that's my opinion.

For the guys who get ghosted after sharing a picture, that must be frustrating. I would recommend having a face pic in your open profile. For me, I find it quite jarring when I've been chatting to someone a while and then their photo does not at all match the mental image I had developed - for that reason I now only talk to guys when I can see their face from the start.
