It's a bit difficult to do but we have both fallen asleep together with it still inside and going soft.
And a few times when it hasn't popped out it has gone hard in me is a really nice feeling.
Sometimes I wake up and don't move whilst he is still sleeping and it has gone hard then I end up waking him by gently riding him.
