I've lived in the Far East for a little while, and cosplay is a quite normal kink across most of Japan and Hong Kong.
Gas Panic club in Tokyo is quite popular with lycra clad individuals strutting their stuff.

I am a Cosplayer in comicon and yes I love it when I see lasses all dressed up, a shame the costumes cost so much; I’d be scared of trashing something in the middle of having some downright dirty fun. Still seen some women pull of cosplay porn which I assume had been done on the cheap somehow. |

See the nerds in costumes at comic book conventions? They’re cosplayers. Never roleplayed in my costumes (I own a black power ranger Jedi knight outfits), it’s more just about trying to recreate your favourite characters and support for shows/ films/ comics/ games etc. a bit like people who wear football tops to show their support for their teams. |

Haha I do know a couple of furries (though they didn’t realise they’d bought fury costumes, they just thought they were cute cartoon dog and wolf outfit’s apparently). |
