age is just a number, it really depends on the individual, I'm in my 50s but feel and act like someone in my 40s. But with age comes experience and some people prefer an older person because of that. For me it's not the age of someone that's important, but if I'm attracted to them physical and mentally. |

I love older men. Though like anything there’s more to it than age. It has to be about attraction too.
For example, if there were two muscular guys (my type) and one was 30 and the other was 50, I’d be way more likely to go for the older man.

I think that some women visually filter out by age (speaking as an older guy) and that’s fine, we all have preferences.
Personally I just love women…any age is fine, and just sitting in the pub with mates I find that of those women that look at me, you can always tell an ‘interested’ look from a casual glance. Not sure how to explain it and for me at my age it’s rarer than it used to be but I can still spot it.

I think the delight of non monogamy, polygamy - or however we choose to describe it - is that we can have both isn’t it?
If I meet a man in his early thirties (wouldn’t look for younger than that) his appeal is usually physical attractiveness, youthful vigour/ardour and enthusiasm. He also needs to be good fun and able to hold a conversation.
With a man 40 to 55 I’m willing to forgo some of the athleticism for intelligence, worldly wisdom/knowledge and a certain sophistication more common in mature people.
What I’m saying is - I consciously look for different attributes in different age groups. I think many people do. |
