What is an ideal opening message that would actually make you want to chat? I dont send unwarranted dick pics or act like an ass if I don't get a reply. But I honestly don't know if my opening messages are crap or just plain boring ha.

Make one of your pics your profile pic. As many automatically filter or delete messages from sillouettes.
Read the profiles, check you match the "looking for" part.
Better to send 2 or 3 tailored messages than a whole bunch of "Are you ready for Christmas" messages. 
It is a numbers game too... Men massively outnumber women here.
So even if you are sending a nice message, it may be drowned out by 50 others.
Search the forums, you may find in the discussions that you have a common interest with someone. Then message politely about that.

I've never sent a dick pic, been rude and have only been polite. Nothing really seems to matter. Genuinely think women are just sick of messages due to the ratio of men to women. |

Oh. Good key word in your question there is engage. Make a genuine attempt to engage with the person behind the pictures would be my advice.
Everyone is different. There's no one size fits all. Read profiles, make sure that they are what you're looking for and that you're what they're looking for. Be polite. Remember that every woman on here gets 100+ messages every day and even the best message can sometimes be overlooked or bulk deleted, and that's just something that has to be accepted.

We look for good clear pics, but not ‘pro’ level pics. Solid veris from genuine profiles, good grammar, signs you’ve read our profile and a clear facepic attached.
Off putting aspects are:
Cock pic next to Sky remote
Using lol every 5 words
Mentioning 420 stuff and ‘sniff’
Baseball caps
Pestering |
