Wherever I lay my hat |
I had a guy bail on me because his car was nicked after returning from holiday. I was sceptical but he texted me a copy of the crime report! I am the worst for thinking the worst of people, but sometimes shit really does happen to people |

"How many times have people heard the car has broken down on way to you excuse? Just had it this morning from a couple"
Did they talk about rescheduling?
Anyone who seriously wants to meet you would, in my opinion, want to reschedule as soon as possible.
Do you know it was a couple and not a fantasist? |

As it happens mine did breakdown but the day before a planned social.
And I say broke down it went snap! The drivers side coil spring decided two was better than one!
Anyway we are still chatting and plan to meet up after Christmas. |

What we find with Fab is ,if the person/people don't turn up on the 1st meet. There's not much chance of them turning up if you give them a second chance.
Plenty of fake accounts on here that just want to chat chat chat but they can't turn up to a meet .Because they're not who they say they are.

Can imagine anyone is making excuses and not actually meeting you

They're all right. Could have broken down. On the other hand, if cars often breakdown on their way to you in these specific circumstances, one does start to wonder.
I know that people get migraines, but my feeling is that a higher proportion of women get migraines as a date with me approaches than at other times. But who knows. Perhaps migraines are more common than I'd thought. (One woman did take lots of medication, drank lots of water, and made it. And pleased she was too! I think.) |

a % of meets that dont happen will be for a valid reason not all will be messers
no shows have always been a part of the scene as annoying as it can be but alot of it is down to the selection of whom your meeting.... |

He could have been plan A, and then suddenly in comes email from the guy of their dreams!
Or that was the AA guy
As for not sending proof - was this a formal investigation?
And staying online - what else would they do whilst waiting? |

if your always being messed around then change how you look for fun as your attracting the wrong types or your attracting men pretnding to be women/couples |

somewhere sweet and sour |
I was all ready to go meet a couple for a social and I was made aware my tyre was flat as I was leaving. Used the inflator and it still wasn't going up. Moved it forward a bit and the tyre had shredded... I was in such a panic of potentially letting them down. Even sent a pic of said tyre as a live pic and luckily they came to my area and ended up having a nice time.
I was always skeptical when people said things like that and then it happened to me, so could have been genuine.

"Well if could stay online all that time could show they weren’t lying. A lot of time wasters and fantasists on here " to be fair if someone asked me to prove something I'd just delete the message. It also could be a verification from previous meet. I've not met since June... my verifications are newer than that

Had a couple guys use death in the family for not attending a gangbangs I arranged. Another said his girlfriend suddenly arranged a day out that day.
"How many times have people heard the car has broken down on way to you excuse? Just had it this morning from a couple
It is quite cold mate. A broken car is a plausible excuse.
The mr "
In the 80s and earlier perhaps but not now. Cars are much more robust |

"Modern cars are pretty reliable i would be pretty sceptical
But they still break down. Not everyone has a brand new car "
I work in the motor trade; buying a new car is no guarantee it won’t break down |
