I'm sure many of you have gone through this. You chat with someone, get things going a bit, arrange a meet and then...boom. He or she doesn't show up for your meet.
Ruins the site. But then again there's a lot of other things that gives this site a bad rep.
I feel like expectations on here should be kept fairly low, knowing how many people can be timewasters, or how many people can be dodgy, or fake etc etc. |

must be very very hard as a guy on here for most it will be nigh on impossible .. but if your getting to the point where someone suggest a meet and your always being let down then thats down to your selection process ...
i suspect your talking to men pretending to be women / couples who are on the site for a wank and nothing else therefor never meet as there not real or as the say they are

No.
It ruins your experience of the site. Not anyone else's.
Many, many people are meeting day in, day out, having a ball and not even venturing into clubs to do so.
If you feel the site isn't living up to your expectations then why use it? I've never understood why people continue to use products or services they're unhappy with whilst being vocal about how bad or poor they think they are.
It's a contact site. Nothing more. It offers no guarantees and anyone who thinks that just by joining they'll be able to meet others for sex is delusional.
As for 'a bad rep' ? The site has probably the best reputation for online swinging sites, is free and the only people that seem to think otherwise are those not getting the sex they thought they'd be getting before they joined.

I've been here 6 years and never had a no show or been one.
Some people tend to blame the site for everything and refuse to look at the common denominator if they are repeatedly having no shows.
I've always been 100 percent certain that the person I've arranged the social with will be there and I've yet to been proven wrong so I will continue to do what I've always done. |

Clubs are perfect for me. A lone player or as a couple I/we tend to stick to clubs for finding new people. You can go at your own leisure without prior planning. No one can waste your time and you don't waste anyone else's (because life happens to us all). Plus you just get a better feel for chemistry in person without the prior (and potentially wasted) time and effort in the online world with only a profile and messages in text to go off. And of course you don't put all your eggs (and energy) in one basket. If your not sure on someone move on and chat to someone else. |

I don't agree about keeping your expectations of the site low, I would just advise you to take better precautions about who you select to meet? There are plenty of tell-tale 'markers' of let's say; 'less than genuine' profiles.....just keep your wits about you, and recognize those signs. Once bitten, twice shy, and all that....
Fab as been very good for me over the years, and with a number of new meets in the wings for me, it continues to be so   |
