If I ever thought I was being the 'one' being 'taken for the team ' I'd be out of there so fast my feet wouldn't touch the ground. Any of my mates would have the decency (I hope) to tell me they wanted to be with a guy they'd just met rather than me and offer to at least call me a taxi.
In the past I've noticed when a friend is getting along well with a guy and made myself scarce. I don't need compensation in the form of some guy who reckons he's doing his mate a favour. Sheesh! |
