Evening all. Looking for some advice after breaking yet another bed slat I've had enough of our current bed and have begun the search for a new one. Any advise on a strong sturdy bed that can easily cope with more then two people bouncing around on it ?

I replaced my bed for the same reason. Got a really solid bed (with slats) from John Lewis for c£600, and also a good quality thick mattress which helps too. It's coped with three of us being very active for a couple of years now.

They're really easy to make yourself, if you have some basic woodworking skills. Or have a small joinery firm nearby.
