Cup size varies according to back size, and cup sizes go up as band size goes down. So a person who wears a 38DD will have the same volume breasts as a 40D, 42C, 36E, 34F etc. Just a note for people who use cup size alone as indicators of breast size |

Saw a lady on the forums the other day who said she was a 48L! How would the volume chart work out the comparisons for boobs as big as that? |

Tbh if someone is wearing a 48 I reckon they are mismeasuring - it’d be very unusual to have an underhand measurement of 48”. Unfortunately people tend to exaggerate band sizes thinking it means “huge boobs” when the band size is your ribcage, not your breasts.
When I briefly worked for adult mags in the 00s they would say a girl was a “44DDD” or similar, when she was actually very petite in the back/ribcage. |

Yes I think self measuring is always difficult to get right, they were massive boobs though! |

Exactly. I wear a 28DD/30D but my boobs are tiny. Cup size alone means nothing. |
