How many are genuine, meeting swingers? How many cheats, lads whose mate told them about it and people just using as a social platform?
No judgement on most of these (except the obvious) just curious what would be left if it was just recently verified, genuine meeting profiles  |

Who knows OP. I think anyone who has been on fab long enough will know there is a high proportion of fakes and fantasists on the site. While it is very cheap to be a supporter those people will never be discouraged. I’ve been on here 10 years and I remember at peak times there would be under 20k online. Now it’s 35K so membership has grown significantly. Dispite all it’s flaws and failings Fab has been by far the best way for me to meet likeminded women for fun. I do graft very hard on here a point the whiners erm to miss |

Very true. You just have to put the work in and it works great , doesn’t matter that it’s 50 or 75 % time wasters because if you do the work you won’t notice them but focus on the good ones |

Absolutely! Thats part of the curiousity. FAB gets used on more diverse ways now, for more varied reasons. The site hasn't changed much in the years I've been on here, but the membership has gone up massively, with a lot more churn of new profiles.
It's an open format website, so people can use it for whatever they want, I'm curious if the core swinger membership has changed size along with all the other users on the site now |

FAB is probably the easiest swinger site to use, and because it doesn't require verification and membership to join, I'd guess it's less threatening to new members dipping their toes in the water.
Would allowing some categories of what you're looking for as filters make it easier to filter, absolutely. Am I curious how much of the membership uses it for something other than its original purpose, also absolutely! |

It's one of the things we had to understand. Verifications are for other people's benefit! If you want to appear genuine, or share your meet experiences, have verifications. If you don't mind, then don't! |

When we first joined the site was a singers site, people looking for fun with like minded couples. Nowadays it seems more using as somewhere for an easy shag, wank folder and at times it seems more like Facebook. On top of that the influx of fantasist and fakes the site has really gone downhill.
In over 10 years meeting on here we had never been let down for an arranged meet until last year and now 3 out of our last 4 meets have been no shows.
I know people say meeting in clubs is a way round this but when your nearest club is over 4 hours away it's only an option 3 or 4 times a year. |

Definitely harder now, just because there are so many more profiles to pick through, and check are genuine. Still better than other sites for couple and club meets |

2 or 3 years ago it seemed the site was being swamped with people promoting paid services, mainly OF. 50% of top pictures on the main gallery would be for people on OF. That seems to become less now.
But this site and others (AW in particular) are getting a lot more press now so more people are becoming aware. im not sure if theres a lot of guys telling their mates out of the nblue to try swinging.... but mumsnet and papers are pushing the "do you know what your husband is doing online" angle quite heavily, even the Financial Times was describing how AW worked just yesterday. |

We’re relatively new to this, but had some great meets with some lovely people however, we didn’t realise how much effort you need to put in, but as you say it is worth it. |
