Hi Ladies
I need some advice
Thinking of buying some suspenders for my gf but would like to know what sizes
which one is comfortable to wear
and if the 6 or 8 belt one is better than the usual 4?
merry christmas everyone ! |

M&S do a basic one which is a good starter one.
The ones with more straps are good but take a little getting used to.
They are sold in dress sizes so be sure you know her size.
And if you're getting her them cos you think they're sexy and she's never expressed an interest then think again - it's that time of year when ladies get lingerie bought for them that they'd never wear and never do. |

"I know she wants a new one but finds the one she has uncomfortable and doesnt seem to give much support for her stockings its a 4 belt one"
In that case consider a six string. But they are usually more fitted so make sure you can exchange it if it's not quite right.
As I say they work in dress sizes or small (8-10) medium (12-14) and large (16-18). |

My most favourite is a 14 strap, the retro style one in one of my photos. For the bigger girls like myself these are comfy, sexy and do an excellent job of holding the stockings up.
I'd definitely go for more clips, 8 at least, if you can. You'll have to be prepared to help her fasten them all though |

I've never seen above 4 strap in a high street shop. Even AP don't stock them. Stockingshq.com has a huge range up to 14 strap (really nice) and more nylons than you'll ever need. Or try tesco and the like for a bit of experimentation. |

Haven't got one yet but I've had my eye on one from pandoraschoice for ages. They do bigger sizes (I'm the same as your girlfriend) and seem to do something for everyone |

I just bought one from ebay "6 Strap Retro Suspender Belt - Black or White All Sizes"
The xtra large is 20-22 (which is the size I bought). It's well made, really comfortable, and the suspenders are very secure - I don't suppose it's the most sexy of belts but in a retro way it's pretty OK. They do a lace fronted one as well, I might just tempt myself after christmas! |
