it is to me i dont meet anyone my kids ages,and oi oi oi would put me off straight away,if you cant be bothered writing something interesting on your profile it tells me you wouldnt be very interesting when meeting,i hope im wrong though,good luck  |

People usually decline you for a reason you can't do anything about.. such as your age!
TBH, the fact you profile is so lacking.. is probably the real reason.
No age doesn't really matter when you are meeting face to face and you are what they are looking for at the time. |

Hmm. I think if your serious then you need to put something more interesting on your profile. The Oi Oi Oi may work down the local boozer on a Saturday night. But not going to work too well when competing with 27 million other single guys.

Yes it's important, I really could go near a guy who's under my age range as I find them generally ( yes I know not all are but most) feel they need to prove something and really just don't do it for me I've always preferred older guys even when I was younger  |

Apart from your age and the distance, there are several things which would make me pass on your profile.
1. No pictures
2. Lack of any real, meaningful text to give an idea of what you are like
3.Only a single verification by cam from Sept 2011. |

Yeah if you want to be taken seriously a little more on your profile than a gurning smiley would be better.
It may not be your age it may be how your profile appears and if you want people to look past your age then you need to give them a reason to.
I'm not saying you can't be fun just that you don't immediately spark interest with your current profile.

to me yes it is important. even though i am young myself the idea of being with someone of similar age.just turns me right off... like them 30s to mid 40s |

A lot of good advice is being given to you - it may not be about your age that you are not getting any meets (if that is why you posted this thread).
If you cannot put effort into your profile, people will imagine, rightly or wrongly, that you won't put effort in to a meet. |
