more women needed

Actually it’s about ten to one. There are several reasons why sites like fab struggle to attract female members - the principal one being society’s condemnation of openly sexually active/non monogamous women. Promiscuous women are still judged far more harshly than promiscuous men - and many forum guys on various relationship threads have openly stated that they’d never date a woman from fab.
I know most of my vanilla friends would be horrified if they knew I was a swinger - and I’d imagine some would terminate the friendship. X |

its always been the case that couples and women have been in short supply when we first started before we had a computer it was male heavy but more around 10 male to every couple/female and there were men even then that could not break thru..
but back then there were alot more couples than now they got older and slowly stopped and the ''new'' joining were far n few between then the internet and the ''groups'' like yahoo xcite aol and others the was 1000s of little groups where swinging online was born and slowly took off but sadly in a male only way when the swinging sites started and there were many before fab was born when the couples and women started to slowly decline ...
why well as with everything internet the trolls/bullys had a platform loads left until fab restored the interest even tho the trolls n bullies were still there .... but we never recovered those amounts that were there before.. all it did was year on year increase more men joining and alot more fustration for them ..
covid the one single advent that i think at least doubled maybe even tripled men joining whiles 100s of couples left the scene online .. go back 30 years before the majority of clubs were born then the nearest back then (from sw) was the midlands the owners of gems were still doggers if you drove to a then big dogging spot near bath m4 junction there would be out dogging anywhere from 50 to 100 couples dogging and single women and all night til 4 or 5am there would be a constant flow of men driving around and then there were invites back to private parties where house's were packed full of couples..
roll forward to today we have a club scene thats good but nowhere near the numbers of yesteryear ... dogging is dead compared to what it was (tho i see this becoming big again due to todays living expense) nowhere near as many house parties and apart from some very good private sites ie niche ones theres only one very good swinging site ie fab even tho the numbers/% are wildly out of sorts ..
how to get others interested is a game that cant be played its sex its about how people feel about sex its about couples agreeing it just not something that can be promoted so it will continue to be men joining at a much higher rate and by that it will create frustration and anger and the negative affect of that is more women and couples leaving sadly .... i dont think theres a answer all we can do is keep using fab and move on ..
for most of us fab is easy we mostly know the pit falls .. the to avoid .. its like everything in life today you have to move mountains to find what you want i dont think we've seen the peak of men on here yet with the decline of relationships and face to face social life and more and more online then more and more men will join sadly not the case with couples and women,,
also swinging is very watered down to what it used to be swinging used to be sex orientated with socials here n there ... now its socials orientated with sex here n there

I really don't see this ratio ever changing too much as long as the female experience of the world is vastly different to the male experience. If you want the ratio to change you need to change society and make this a very different world to be a woman in. |

I don’t think society’s view of non-monogamous women has much bearing on the amount of single female profiles in Fab? The one place you would imagine these ladies would be prevalent is in swinger clubs, and yet there are hardly any when you go, even with the ‘discounted’ entry fees….. |

Pretty much spot on. Our experience of first being on here with no filters was being bombarded with very high counts of messages being a new cpl we tried being respectful and replied to the guys messages only to be bombarded with more messages trying to. Convince us to meet. These messages turned abusive and nasty when we very polietly said no thank you. Then you had the guys we liked who we messaged about meeting up to play with who after several messages just bottled it and backed out. Our view on clubs is also slightly tainted but also had a few really good expetiences due to three cpls who we really clicked with who took the time to show us around. We did find though that there is a very cliquey feeling which is due to the people there knowing each other who attend regularly which we can understand but as new people single or cpls attending this can feel very daughnting and can put most off going again. If it was not for the first cpl showing us around and taking time out after their play session with a guy they arranged to meet there i doubt we would have gone the second time which got us to meet with two other very nice cpls there. The club scene is not as easy as we thought ot would be but we keep plugging away and try to chat to others there if they are approachable. I feel for quieter guys, ladies and cpls who go to clubs as some get put off very quickly by the enviroment. Also the wanking zombies and gropers have this effect as we experienced this ourselves there. The gropers should be banned perminanyly i feel as it is sexual assault if not wanted or agreed to the touching. Joanne. |

I did 2 forum surveys years ago - asking fellow forumites from many areas in the uk to go on ‘who’s near’ and count the couples, single males, single females, TV’s etc. people from around 70 different areas responded. Overall the ratio was 10:1
Without asking admin (and understandably I doubt they’d tell us) for the number of fabbers in each group - it’s about the only relatively reliable way of working it out.
Whilst those ratios may have changed since I last did it I very much doubt they’ve changed tenfold.
When I can be arsed I’ll do it again - probably in the new year now. X |

I’d disagree. Being on fab for a single female - especially a more mature one - can be construed as being a ‘risk’. If she was outed - and we all know that sadly this happens - she would be far more likely to be condemned by friends and family. Also few men in the ‘real’ world would be keen to date a swinging female - even if she’s willing to be monogamous thereafter. |

i can see the problem right there lol you asked the forums ? the 1%'ers of fab there is no way on earth youll get a correct number from the forums and there is no way youll get a correct number from snap shots of time |

It's impossible because you always have to calculate if their going to find you attractive  then height a suitable length |
