You see it all the time. But what do you think it means?
To me it sends the message " rough as fuck" but I could just be wrong, and it means "grounded"
Just in the way I think professional means you are a member of a chartered institute and not someone with a full-time job. |

"down to earth" = grounded
"professional" = anyone who takes their job/role seriously. For a lot of jobs, certifications or membership of official bodies doesn't come into as they are often scams. |

However, my post was not about the professions.
I would say I am grounded, real and able to get on with most of my fellow humans.
I would also say I was privately educated and detest the BBC when it insists that all its presenters drop the "T" from twenty. |
