We get both men and women wink, peek or message our profile. In turn we will peek at their profile, if there is a common interest we will message back. We totally appreciate there has to be some for of an appeal even before a social meet up hello. |

A nice change for you hopefully.
I do suggest that Dora can message anyone, anytime she likes but she’s still uncertain about the whole business so I guess if she sees I’m happy to message on her behalf it square things for her morally? |

I actually prefer a wink.

I think for a guy (or maybe females too) it gives an opportunity to look and see their profile before you commit to opening a conversation which can sometimes mislead, if that makes sense.
I’m always disappointed if some I like messege me, and then gets talking to me and then I realise after they asked for face pics they then disappear. But I suppose that’s the nature of this site.

Only ever been messaged by guys first (outside of playing forum games that is). Would actually love to get a message first it’d brighten my day up but sadly not to be.
I do love the wink system too but sadly there’s not a lot of love for that either.

The profile has to be interesting in some way though.
If there’s great photos, but text says “will fill in later” for instance, I wouldn’t bother. I have to feel that the person has made some proper effort. |

On the rare occasion I see a profile I like, I always message. Even if it's just to compliment the profile, if for example it's clear we would never meet (different interests or whatever) - I'll still send something positive. |
