I'm not a massive fan of them myself...my skin is very sensitive.

Don't like the look or feel of them too I have to say.

Bad enough when a man had stubble I don't need a hedgehoge.

I don't mind beards as long as they aren't either big and bushy like Father Christmas or long and straggly like ZZ Top as then they are just a turn off

I really like them provided they aren’t too big or bushy and smell good. I prefer men with a rugged look so think they look much sexier than being clean shaven. I also like the feel of them when kissing and paired with sexy eyes, tattoos and good aftershave they are

So what is classed as a beard though, what sort of length?? I’m not meaning the obviously large ones, but more that at what point does stubble become a beard?? I usually keep trimmed to 2mm in the facial fuzz, shaving every week or 2. Some say no beards but stubble fine, hence wanting clarification (I know, it’s the whole WE, VWE, VVWE thing).

What I do have going for me though is because I am so fair, any growth I have is always really soft rather than spikey (I do occasionally use a conditioner )

Beards are so dividing, it seems people either love them or hate them with no middle ground at all.

One thing I’m picking up from the comments is the assumption bearded men are dirty and beards are itchy.

It isn’t true on either as long as you maintain them, condition, wax/oil and make an effort.

Personally I wouldn’t want to meet someone who was dirty and itchy beard or no beard..

The worst is when a woman assumes you will change your look just to sleep with them, that’s insanity, you’re either attracted to me or not, it’s not conditional to me shaving.

the amount of guys who message me and say id shave it off just to play with you is high ... there no way in hell i would want anyone to change the way they look or present themselves .. i would not meet anyone who thinks that way be proud of who you are and if you have a beard own it with pride ..just because a few dont like it dont mean you have to change ..anyway far more like it than those of us that dont ...those who say they would shave i just block and move on ...no one will appeal to everyone

This is a common misconception, longer beards are softer than shorter ones. Short trimmed beards tend to be coarse and spikey, like stubble. Longer beards are just... Well, hair. As a rule, someone with a longer beard is more likely to pay attention to it too. Shampooing and conditioning, using beard oils, balms and butters to keep it soft and healthy, that sort of thing.

There's nothing I can do about your paranoia about food in it though, except to explain that I generally put food in my mouth rather than smearing it on my face...

I spend an insane amount on conditioners, balms, oils, dermal rollers and more.

Right now my beard is a little unweildly as I'm trying to change the shape, but it's soft, silky and smells of oud, cedar, amber beard wash, then I used basil, bergamot and citrus oil.

The longer my beard got the more I spend looking after it, when it was a box, it was literally number 5/6 clippers and done.

I even use more facial moisturizers and stuff now too.

Witch loves the beard, and gets very defensive when we go out as get lots of people wanting to stroke it, she doesnt mind if they ask first haha, but on the flip side lots don't like it, but what I find strange is a lot of time when people don't like beards they feel they to tell you. Blow drying was a revelation for me - literally just a hair dryer and a comb makes a huge difference. A bit of beard balm Combed through afterwards, and voila.

If it was a long beard I wouldn't shave it though.

Personally for me hair is a complete turn off doesn't matter if its on your face or your balls, although on your face is worse especially long beards that look like pubes. Designer stubble can be forgiven but not beards. Oh and those guys that don't even groom it and end up with hairy lips is the most disgusting sight ever. Lbh if you can't take care of your appearance what does that say about your hygiene etiquette so it's an easy block everytime.

"Personally for me hair is a complete turn off doesn't matter if its on your face or your balls, although on your face is worse especially long beards that look like pubes. Designer stubble can be forgiven but not beards. Oh and those guys that don't even groom it and end up with hairy lips is the most disgusting sight ever. Lbh if you can't take care of your appearance what does that say about your hygiene etiquette so it's an easy block everytime."

This is the exact reason women should all shave that disgusting filthy hair off their heads, it just shows how manky and gross they all are if they don't even care about basic personal hygiene like shaving their heads. Makes normal un-disgusting people like the rest of us feel sick LBH.

"I have a short stubble one. If you don't like it then no worries, we'll go our different ways but I'm not shaving it off for anyone. "

I get it's all about personal preference but some of us ladies are very sensitive in certain areas.

And if anyone wants go there, they must be smooth.

Happy Fabbing

They're ok but they can make men I wouldn't be attracted to without one, attractive, sometimes and I don't really like that. So I tend to steer clear all together... I dislike the overly groomed and the hobo look equally too, anyway always rather liked a goatee though

Mine comes and goes. I entertain it until it grosses me out by retaining toast crumbs etc. It's always really soft though as I have quite fine hair and I conditioner the hell out of it and oil/balm it twice a day as it's more often than not in the itchy as fuck growing phase.

To my knowledge it's never triggered sensitive skin reactions and my ex wife had terrible skin conditions and bad excema

Considering the op asked presumably women for an opinion on the subject it's funny how all these but hurt men not surprisingly in their 40s and 50s seem so desperate to want to dive in with theirs maybe they have the wrong sexuality selected on their profile maybe they are weak minded maybe they are insecure I guess we will never know

It's a no to beards from us it's a complete turn off, clean shaven is preferred and very little body hair in general.

That's just our preference and no offence intended
