I have just recieved the best 3 reply's in my time on fab.
Although all rejections they all had reasons as to why the rejected. Ranging from what they wanted at the moment to not being into taller guys. I write good (in my opinion and theirs) messages explaining what im like.
Just wondering do many couples do this as the vast majority of messages i send get deleted or a just a message saying 'NO'!!! |

I sometimes don't know what to reply when I'm not interested, it's hard for everyone to know how to say no to someone without offending them. Sometimes it takes so long to write out a good reason that sounds nice and is in no way a put down towards the person, Although a lot of people think its rude to not reply at all I can understand why it happens sometimes! Just all part and parcel of the game I suppose! |

"we just say not what we are looking for rather than offend - but we always say something never just ignore a message "
That's the same as us or we just say sorry we're not interested but happy swinging |

My stock answer to folk who've read my profile n messaged me is "thanks for joke and message, sorry you're not my type. Happy swinging". More often tgan not I get a thanks for replying response which i read and thats end of convo. I use the personal notes function to note I've said not interested then if they message again in coupla weeks i can say still not interested and attach a smiley...if i got a 3rd message I usually block. As I'm not meeting at moment and my profile specifically states I'm not, I've blocked a couple n a single guy this morning, but had a lovely message off a forum lurker which I've responded to |

We always reply to messages, and most single guys will respond with thanks for answering, think most are shocked that we reply. Only once when we said the guy wasn't my (Lynne's) type did we get "What is her type then" and Andy just sent "Well not you obviously!". A bit sarcastic, but warranted at the time. |

After I've said, "it's a polite no thanks" and they ask why, I'm sometimes tempted to reply with "I'm sure you wouldn't like to hear" lol but manners do oil the wheels of life so there is no need to hurt someone just because you don't fancy them Jx |
