Had some random old fart message us the other evening just stating we werent that great looking.. Why do people feel the need to message such comments. Wed never been in touch or spoken before! Surely if someone isnt your cup of tea you just move on to the next profile. Anyone else had this happen? |

I don't get this carry on either. Some people must simply come on here to be offensive.
I got a message the other day that just said "slag". There are a few others who add a little more detail too.
Whatever others think of you and however they put it, it's not important because they definitely won't be the ones enjoying you. Maybe that's the point eh? |

I had a guy tell me how gorgeous I was, lovely figure etc, messaging for ages then asked to friend request so he could see my face, so I requested him and sent him a face pic, at which point he declined the request and messaged saying no thanks!! Lol. Can't be everyone's cup of tea I suppose, Pmsl x |

every abuse send to me in a first message has been because they dont fit what i state im looking for in my profile.
looking at urs i bet this guy couldnt accomodate or afford a hotel..

the best ones are when browsing finding people that have blocked us (if we are outwith their age etc we can still _iew profile just not message) when we have never even looked at their profile before never mind winked or messaged :S |

They're the same as the trolls on Twitter and Facebook - sad little people who sit at home thinking they are 'clever' sending out messages hoping to wind someone up.

I suspect these types of messages are from retarded individuals with little or no social skills.
It is likely that they are burrowed away in their bedroom, living in their parents' home, surrounded by crusty socks and pizza boxes.
Just be thankful that they come here to bother you and not in person.
You both look mighty fine to me...

Some people are just cruel and nasty. I would not rise to them. I would simply delete the email and block them. Life is too short to deal with idiots like that. |

Yep in fact it was quite personal and insulting as was the message you received.
I've learned from my work not to rise to an insult and if possible ignore it.
People can hide on the net and it brings out the weasels with no back bone who would normally smile to your face,lie then stab you in the back.
They are cowards and and I don't doubt lonely,bitter twisted and as ugly outside as they are inside.

They read your profile, realised that there was no way you would meet them based on what you say. Made up their mind that that was 'unreasonable' and took it personally and then reacted.
I've had it on other sites. Not here, fortunately.
The issue is their own inadequacy and absolutely nothing to do with you. They would probably be a piss poor meet anyway with that attitude. |

We've also had people invite us as friends after chat/messages, exchange of pics etc only to then immediately de-friend and even block us. No explanation, nothing... bizarre.

I think some folk take this too serious and its not real life unless and until you actually meet up with someone until then its fantasy.
No excuse or reason for being obnoxious unless folk like the person who sent the o p the message are mentally challenged. |

we're not arsey as such, just with past experience and some messages we've recieved on here make us wary of others and their intentions. the wrong few have taught us to be wary of the many good. not to everyones liking but we'd rather people read our profile and for us to actually meet what makes us seaxually fulfilled then to just take whats offered |
