Not impressed, but rather that than no verifications. Verifications don’t mean they have fucked, just that they turned up, on time, smelt good, looked good etc. lots of people here get verification from clubs. For all you know they just had a chat and a drink and a dance. But they were confirmed as being real, and a true likeness to their photos unlike unverified profiles.

I'm impressed by good profiles.

The number of verifications is irrelevant as you don't know how long they've been on site. I've been here since 2008 and my country would be well into three figures if everyone I and we have ever met left us one.

If you judge someone's sexual history by the number of veris on a profile you're being naieve.

Not every meet ends in a verification. Not every sexual encounter takes place on Fab.

And it's pretty judgemental to class sexually active people on a swingers site for the number of interactions they have. If a number puts you off then that's your prerogative but it doesn't make that person bad in any way , shape or form.

Why?

Hidden veris are useless. They could be years old. They could be from when a profile was a couple and it's now a single guy playing alone. They could all be social. They could all be graphic and detailed with info that would put you off, whether just one or two or dozens.

Veris are a useful tool.

Someone having none is far more of a red flag than someone having any number.

We were attacked once by a guy for our verifications but two things made us laugh….

1. Verifications aren’t a verification of being fucked. They’re a meet verification. Many of them are club meets where we just spoke.

2. It’s a swingers site. If someone thinks it’s worse to have more people on your list, they’re in the wrong place and their judgement is absolutely not welcome. This is not Tinder. And also, these idiots forget that a swinger with tons of verifications may very well be the person getting tested regularly and playing safe, whereas on Tinder, you could be dating/fucking someone who’s never been tested and fucked tons of people unprotected.

Nothing is as simple as your original post makes it sound. Be careful not to become the person in point number 2

Let others do it theirs and just move on if you don't like them having veris and maybe be a little bit less judgemental about the fact people might have a lot .Having veris does not mean it's all fuck veris either btw. And plenty meet on here and don't veri so if you think less veris means you have less chance to catching anything you are very naive.

And as for veris having a lot doesn't put me off,having some from certain people would put me off more because I avoid drama it can bring. And I'd pick some one with veris over those that have none especially when they take the moral high ground.

I know people on here who show none after being on the site a decade. That works for them.

I know people on here showing over 100. Over the course of ten years that averages out at less than a meet a month. Not exactly partying every night.

Like a few others, I’m not fussed by them. As long as someone is verified I’m not bothered how many people they’ve met as that’s their business and doesn’t indicate what they’ve done. I’m sure plenty of people connect at a club but don’t engage in sex and just have a chat.

I've been here around 15 years, whilst others have joined today. People are not comparable here, just by verification totals, when we've all joined at different points.

Verifications aee also vastly different between people. Spending a lot of time in clubs and on the scene, you'll naturally engage with lots of people who are here.

In any event, there is no shame in having any number of partners. Anyone who looks down on others who actively participate in no strings sex should not expect others to live like monogamous individuals involved with a relatively tiny number of sexual partners in their lives. A judgemental, moralistic attitude is also not very attractive.

We have no right to demand intrusion into the privacy of others here, whom we may have sex with. Verifications are optionally provided to help others gauge the potential reliability of someone and investment of time and effort in them, towards potentially meeting.

We're free to decide who we want to engage with, according to our preferences. This doesn't need to mean that we broadcast our distaste of others who are different from us. We should certainly work to make Fab a welcoming place for all and to keep the forum positive and supportive.

Loads of the verifications are only social. I got 3 from a social.

To answer your question, I would say I will not be impressed, but a bit worried when meeting someone with loads of verifications. I will read all of their verifications to know the ratio between the social ones and the bang ones

I only find verifications partially useful. Simply they are tool to get some kind of grasp of what someone is like, the sort of people they go with and that they are genuine. But I mainly take them with a pinch of salt and much prefer to be my own judge. So hence I'm not too bothered by no verifications (we all start somewhere) as other red flags will prop up down the line anyways. Not bothered about volume likewise and I all look at volume in wider context. For example how long do they span, veri/year say. Are they more reflective of an active social life on the scene rather than of more intimate meets. Not that it really matters, more to say volume only really tells you more with wider context.

I absolutely despise the verification system on this website. It gives me extreme anxiety to write a verification due to English being my second language and I’ll only write one when in return. But I’d rather not to.

I’d rather go with my gut when meeting someone than by verification, these can be easily fabricated anyway.

Some make a great reading, though

Out of curiosity, do you know if it would be allowed? I can't imagine they have a system in play to detect different languages, and surely they wouldn't care that much? I appreciate you will probably not know the answers to these questions

It's a mixed opinion. We have verifications and it can be from people we have met socially and just engaged in conversation with it doesn't mean to say that we played with them. And if we were to meet somebody we wouldn't trust somebody who has absolutely no verifications who might have been on the side for a year because if they are genuine surely at clubs they have met someone in that period of time but that's just our opinion

Personally I don't see the problem, it's a swinging site that promotes meeting other people. I find most people with loads of verifications are club goers, it's easy to rack up 100s in no time at all.

hence the problem can we believe what’s written in peoples verifications and yes I’d put it on makes no difference to me what someone thinks about me for example I’ve got 5 good verifications and one bad one I’d like to think people could make their own mind up based on what they all say good and bad but as you say people probably wouldn’t put them on
