I have never had a meet through Fab, but have met people in hotels before.
Depends on the hotel.
Remember being in a big city hotel and having to go down to the lobby to meet as you needed a room key for the lift. Was just a very awkward lift ride.
A Travelodge I stay in for work sometimes only has about 40 rooms, all accessed via a reception which is locked after 10pm and receptionist has to buzz people in.
Twice, through other apps, met up with people staying in the same hote! That was a win! |

I've met people at hotels before with varying degrees of success.
Easiest is usually to leave spare key at reception and tell them your partner will be arriving later.
Most are really cool with it. |

"Perfectly fine, chain hotels offer a lot of positives, yes might be basic to some but they are usually clean, no fuss and you know what to expect.
"
Their beds are brilliant. |

Had lots of meets in Travelodge,
Same as you stayed in one in Northampton and 2 guys were in the same hotel so they both came to visit....

Despite people joking about them, they are clean, modern and serve a purpose.
And if you’re based in London and aren’t wanting to be spending silly money on hotels they work well.
Also you can cancel for free on the day of arrival up to midday which is a godsend if a meet gets cancelled. |

Travelodge tend to be basic but clean, well maintained and the quality of the mattresses and bedding has improved vastly over the last few years. We don't need posh or lavish furnishings, just clean, comfortable and a decent bed.
Obviously they don't come with much in the ways of supplies or option of room service. Not a problem when you come equipped with a cool box full of drinks and things to snack between rounds. |

I met a woman of similar age at a Premier Inn once. We had arrived in separate cars, met outside and went in together pretending to be husband and wife. She used her credit card to pay (I paid her in cash afterwards) but was asked for the registration number of "our" car. She couldn't remember and we just froze with embarrassment. In the end, with the receptionist smirking behind the desk, I gave my registration number and we were let in. After that, I prefer hotels where you can get to the rooms without being buzzed through. |

Out of interest, what type of car was it? |

Absolutely nothing wrong with a travelodge/premier inn type of place. You know what you’re getting and a reasonable price with lots of them to choose from.
Okay they’re not a five star experience but they’re usually nice and clean and perfect for a liaison
Also I’ve never had any problem at all with visitors in any of them. Just meet them in the lobby and come on in together. Perfick |

Ok so this is going to sound like a silly question as i’ve used travel lodges etc for actual overnight hotel stays, but what’s the protocol if you’re using them for a lets say a few hours “play” then you’re checking out? Btw love travel lodge, never had any issues thankfully |

Not a silly question. You can pay extra to get early check in. Just leave when you're done and drop the keycard off at reception or leave it in the room. |

I’d say Premier Inn are more consistent. I’ve stayed in some lovely Travelodge but I’ve also stayed in some that are absolute cesspits.
Check out IBIS for good, cheap hotels, but often have key requirement for lifts to get to rooms. |

I know what you mean, it’s been a while since I’ve been in a truly bad travelodge but they can vary. On the other hand I can’t help but feel premier inn has gotten ideas above its station/ delusions of grandeur lol |

"It’s a bit snobby of me but I wouldn’t meet in a travelodge, unless it happened to be the only hotel in an area.
Prefer to meet in nice surroundings
"
Not snobby at all, you like what you like , go for it |

I've stayed in a few - clean, budget, good bathroom. Bed is ok.. But i much prefer Premier Inn beds
Never had any issues arriving separately.. They take your reg so you don't get a parking charge.. I don't know my reg, so i have a photo of my car that i look at when I need to give details |

"Day use ones I’ve had have been great
Check in by myself get ready and then message room number to my guests, who can just come to the room.
My first gangbang was day use hotel"
As long as you can get past reception... you know that they know what you're really up to! |

"No thanks, too expensive.
A travel tavern too expensive?"
Yeah I'm more of a behind Asda at midnight kind of girl. Cheap and cheerful and a bit of mood lighting from the signage. |

"Who would meet in a travel lodge type of environment?"
I suppose the modular functional if not mechanical environment may describes what goes on in such places?
Do they provide fresh milk? |

Prefer a Premier Inn because … pillows!!! Travelodge is fine too. Have met in both.
Have also pushed the boat out and met in Hiltons to play out a scenario involving bar, lift and bedroom. |

We met at a Hilton once. When it comes to the bedroom, it was no better than a Premier Inn. |

I prefer Premier Inn too, although one had two beds put together, so a dip in the middle. The other was amazing. |

"Travelodge is quite popular for meets judging by the amount of times I've seen those official Travelodge curtains in the background of photos.." says you with the official travelodge wall picture in the background of your main profile photo, I think we are all guilty of the crime of being a travelodge tranny at one time or another.... me included

As a sometime Thropule there’s much less questions asked booking into a travelodge with 3 adults….although as our third is quite petite and a teacher maybe asking her in reception what time she needed dropping at school in the morning wasn’t the best idea….resulting in a questioning look from receptionist! |
