Also done loads of DJing, can confirm you get way, way less attention from women than people think. Main thing is just the logistics of the night - for the most part you're stuck in a booth, and in pretty much the worst environment to get chatting to anyone, while they all pair off with people who aren't breaking off every 90 seconds to cue up a record. What you *do* get a load of is fairly dull blokes wanting to ask you questions about track IDs and the equipment you're using...
