I got thinking recently about what happens to old swingers, a regular FWB or a Daddy almost becomes part of the family. As I start to hit 50, then 60 and higher I wonder. Please, if you are under 50 don't speculate, I would appreciate replies from people who have actually been there. |

Not really sure I understand the question but at 54 we resent being called "old swingers"  Still going strong. The only thing that has changed for us is becoming less tolerant of the the crap that comes with swinging.....timewasters, pretenders, users, etc.... |

Oh one thing we have noticed is that as get into 50s and 60s lots of men do struggle sometimes getting/staying hard or cum quite quickly and that's it. And when it comes to couples often it ends up being more about the lady having fun and the man sitting back for that reason which is not ideal for us. Of course not in all cases but it is a thing. |

In scheme of things think the wording might have been a tade poorly selected op.
That said guess its a matter of if you still enjoy that side of things then do as you as you please. This is what its all about whatever your age, size, preferences, creed.

We're in our mid sixties, we're older than many on here, it's fact and not something that particularly bothers us. The thing is you have to live, if you get hung up on age you limit yourself. Other people might not want to meet due to our age but that's absolutely their prerogative.
We were looking at a profile of a couple in their 70s recently and they were one of the few couples we've seen who both looked genuinely happy in their photos. They were laughing, smiling and just all round having a good time. |

No one is here for a long time just a good time. The thing is to grab each day and enjoy it! To try not to sweat the small stuff seek what pleases you and the pleasure you find whereever whenever and with who you find it without hurting anyone in the the progress.   |

Maybe the original wording could have been better, but it's tricky to describe something that hasn't happened yet. Assuming the machinery down there still works, I suppose there's no upper limit and if you have bonded with someone for long enough, I just couldn't imagine not being around them. |

If you've really bonded with someone it's unlikely you're going to stop contact if sex stops. A real bond transcends that surely. FWB is different possibly, even then once the 'benefit ' part is gone you're still left with the friend bit |

With age comes experience and with us it's mostly been about Mrs4 having fun and new experiences and the only thing that's changed is that her tolerance for the idiots ( here's me knob etc etc ) has got lower than Mr4's ever was which is quite amusing !! but always been the sme the younger and upcoming generation always think they've invented the wheel !! and although the internet is great it has in certain degree's ruined the "Scene" as now everyone who has internet access etc etc now think they are "Swingers" or so it seems to us and that's all age related ....  |

That is so true, every generation thinks they invented sex, an 18 year old apprentice started at our place announcing she was a lesbian and just frowned on old fuddy duddys like me. If she only knew the pit of filth I had crawled through over the years, it would make her eyes bleed. |

We fall into this category now (well I do) and our swinging shows no sign of abating.
We feel we can still bring alot to the table, or bed or wherever takes your fancy.
One thing we have noticed is when we go to a club some of the younger people we play with have said that if we had tried to contact them via FAB their filters would have prevented it. But in the social atmosphere of a club we all got on very well.
All is not lost for us older folk

Age is just a number, as long as you're still having fun and making connections what's it matter about age.
We are far from being models but we look after ourselves as much as we can, can still hold a conversation and still love sex so why is age a problem x |

That's a good point, if someone blocking your age messages you first, does it allow a reply? Has anyone tested this?

We were at a club recently where all the people having sex in the large open room were in their 60's and 70's. (They compared ages). The younger ones were just watching.

To be honest I’m having the best sex ever now I’m in my sixties.
I have far less hang ups than when I was younger and the couples we meet from our joint profile are of a similar age and feel the same.
No intention of stopping until my health decides otherwise. At whatever age that may be. |

we know plenty of couples who still play in there 70s n 80s people who we knew when we first started and are still going and get plenty of meets younger guys tend to really like these couples ... fair play to them ... i hope im still sexual at that age after all its just a number |
