Really depends where I trying to touch and with how many. There is potentially a lot of variation. For me it's not about how hard and fast you can bang on x number of fingers.
If its 2 fingers curling upwards inside the middle and index fingers but could well be doing things with other fingers as well.

I've found that one of the biggest complaints women seem to have when talking about this subject is guys that keep adding more fingers when for most 2 will do. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. A lot of guys don’t know how to read a woman’s body and a lot of women don’t speak up in the moment so I’ve heard.
