Been thinking about this recently. I got into the swinging/fetish scene in my thirties and had a great time, don't regret it at all,and although it can still be fun, and I do still enjoy the social side of it, sometimes I think, am I just too old now...?
Genuinely wondered what other pp think about this. Tbh this may be affected by being out of the scene for so long due to Covid restrictions and finding it hard to rediscover my mojo for so long@

We’ve just turned 40 and tbh we’re very conscious of our age, we recently went to a club and felt like we were the oldest there
We’ve thought that maybe it’s time to move on and step aside from this as getting meets is getting harder, we’re not sure if it’s our age or not x |

I don’t think there should be any age that’s too old for it. It’s just as much a social aspect as it is a sexual one. You’re never too old to have fun. Life’s too short to be worried about being too old for a good time |

I don't see any reason why age should stop you at all. Granted, it might (will) make finding others more of a challenge but, if you're physically able and still have the desire... what difference does a number make? I'm 40 now, but so are others. What's not to say in 20 or 30 years time we won't still be friends (unlikely. I know - but my point is you won't just rock up to a club in your 70's expecting to get laid. By then you'd have found your "circle". I plan on dropping dead old, dehydrated and happy. |

I didn’t start swinging until I was 53 and we have as many offers to play eight years later. You are never too old, but maybe just don’t want to swing at the moment. The desire may come back, and if it does you will have as much fun as you want to. |

OP I think women in their 40s and onwards are in their prime. In my experience they have much more confidence in themselves than before and they know what they want.
I would have said you were just entering the perfect age for this site. |

I think it's more a mindset than a numbers game. Some people will want to swing until they are ready to shuffle off this mortal coil and others may want to stop at 25. Circumstances, health, mobility, etc may make it more difficult but age shouldn't really come into it. |

Never too old? I suppose there is some truth in that.
However when you get to a certain age (like us) you start to lose some of your confidence. We are not quite knackered yet (we are going to a club tonight) but the day will come, probably sooner rather than later, when we call it a day.
We really don't want to end up as (literally) the oldest swingers in town. |

In France and much of europe they call our hobby a libertine lifestyle.
It simply means following your own desires for the pleasures of life its more a journey than anything else. Sharing them is just an extention of that pleasure. I think that relieves much of the tentions to perform as others may think you should. If you want to, do if you dont, dont. Just enjoy the pleasures you want to without concern. Individual choices cannot be made by others enjoy your version of your adventures. |

So many patients & colleagues tell me off the goings on in care homes/assisted living etc…. STIs are a massive problem & room hopping is rife.

OP, I think you are way off being too old yet, I would say if eventually you are physically unable to enjoy it then you are too old, mentally it's how young you are in your head, blokes probably have the upper hand there though as we are all still in our twenties in our head. |

I don’t think there’s an age limit at all, J (Mr) and I are ‘only’ 42 and exploring together for the first time as a couple, I’ve no plans to stop when I get to a certain age haha

As long as your expectations of number of meets diminish as your age increases, it’s all good. Rather than worry about getting a meet just treasure it when it does come along!
Remember that on fab nobody is guaranteed anything regardless of age. |
