With the cost of living hitting new levels. How much do you spend or are willing to spend on your "hobby/lifestyle".
We are looking at the cost/benefit equation and its not looking too good.
Neither of us smoke and we drink very moderately (3-4 pints a week). The total cost of attending our favourite club including travelling/entrance/drinks and all incidentals is toping £100 a visit.
Our income is limited so the cost/benefit equation is in sharp focus.
We can host vists by other couples but getting others to actually turn up is dificult as we presume others are having similar problems.
Your thoughts please!

We did the same sums a few weeks ago. Came to a similar number too, about £85 to visit the nearest club to us, more if we travel further afield. It is now a once monthly treat rather than two or three times a month as it was before covid struck. |
