"I will often wear opaque tights under my trousers in winter, it does help keep my legs warm … and cos I can! If out in the day dressed, I may wear opaque hold up, but on a night out will always wear FFNS … no change there then!

"Many years ago when I was cycle racing regularly I used to wear a pair of my wifes tights under my cycling tights when out training. One day I crashed on a patch of ice and finished up in A&E with a broken collar bone. My cycling tights had shoulder straps and they had to come off in order to strap up my shoulder. There was a great deal of giggling from the nurses when they discovered my "secret". Nowadays there is a lot more choice in cycling gear. G&A "Lol great story.
