Following on from a number of other threads recently about single males, time wasters, the lack of reliable meets etc.
From my point of _iew the site has evolved into a very different place from the Fab I joined over three years ago.
In those three years I have met some lovely guys, had lots of fun and in 99.9% of cases remained good friends with the guy's I've met. I haven't met hundreds of guys but the meets I have had have all been relaxed, go with the flow affairs, none of high demands which seem to be commonplace today (except for the obvious Safe sex)
If I were to arrange a meet with someone new and was confronted with the huge lists of do's and don't's which seem to be the norm these days when it comes to arranging a meet, I would simply think sod it, I really don't need the stress!
Today I should have had a meet with a long standing Fab friend but it turned out he was tight for time due to a prior sports engagement. Ok I'm sad that we didn't get to meet up as I was raring to go lol  but it was a joint decision to call the meet off, no hard feelings, no getting arsey, no blocking on here, no reporting to admin.
And yes I have a few do's and don't's of my own, there is nothing wrong with being choosy.

Sorry I assumed that my three general preferences height, age and unattached would be easily spotted and pointed out as "Pot, kettle, Black etc"

I think there are quite a few people for which this site is very important, and when things go wrong take it very personally. Its hard not to.
The thing to remember is that Fab is not the be all and end all of life. Life should be full of stuff to do, then Fab adds the naughty spice to it. |

I won't say people are bad for feeling that way. I can't help but be upset when I am stood up or my arranged meet goes up the swanee without knowing why. But there's always something else to do. |

I would not be here over 3 years after I joined FAB in Aug 2009 if I do not like what the lifestyle and FAB could offer.
Yes I have changed in my outlook in life over the years, and have changed how I select potential new playmates which is even choosier than before.
However, I still manage to find NSA fun with like-minded peeps now and again. It suits me fine and I am here to stay for the foreseeable future.
