Anyone tried it as a way of getting to know if people are genuine, and also having a bit of fun ?

I would try to get an idea BEFORE I started to use FaceTime...

The only way I've found that works is by talking to them, reading their profile and seeing if what they say etc rings true.

Do you not have to let people have the email address your iPad is registered to?

you can put skype on your iphone with a throw away email address, it works better than facetime anyway and its free.

we have it on ours, ask us nicely we'll give you the address, we have played on cam using it. POV i think its called lol
