Would you meet a pushy person?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I only ask because we've just had to block a proper pest, who had 14 glowing verifications!
I understand people don't always meet through fab directly, but it does make me wonder how he got anywhere near the women in his pics with this behaviour |

Not a chance would we meet someone like that |

"Nope. If they’re pushy by text. How insufferable are they going to be in person?
Plus, they’re probably the type to not respect any boundaries and just their for their own fun. "
This is exactly how we feel! People can be very flippant on here, "oh we're all here for sex and lots of it, don't be such a prude" that sort of attitude but I don't think it's a stretch to want your play mates to have some respect? |

We guess that there might be a fine line between pushy and keen
We are only after one buddy for longterm fun. We enjoyed our last buddy for 10+ years.
We expect effort, we think that we are worth effort, but if someone becomes pushy, then they are history.

Coming at this from a purely male perspective on this site - I often find that most couples/women aren’t used to being told ‘sorry, you’re not for me’
I understand why because they have the pick of whoever they want in reality on here but I always insist on meeting for a drink first before anything. I have to have some physical attraction to the person to go with finding them fun and interesting.
I recently met with a couple who after a coffee invited me back to theirs. I said I was flattered but they weren’t for me and politely declined. When I next checked the site I had a barrage of messages saying how I’ve wasted their time, how I’m missing out and how they didn’t want me to come anyway but felt they had to invite me because I’d turned up. Totally contradicting themselves but, ah well! |

No, to me it shows a lack of respect and I'd be concerned any boundaries set would be ignored |

Some people don't realise that there's a life outside of Fab and swinging. They don't understand that meetings can sometimes take a while to set up for all manner of reasons. I've had to block a recent contact for that reason just an hour ago. Just got fed up with continually being asked "so when can we meet"!! |

OMG that is shocking behaviour
Can absolutely attest to some couples and women being brats - when I first came on here and then when we moved to our first couple's profile, we saw MANY rattles thrown out of the pram
Of course it's disappointing when things don't take off with someone you fancy, but come on!! |

Now I knew "bull" described the other bloke in the cuckold scenario, but that would be akin to me calling myself "sub" or something lol |

Not if they are a pest or abusive , can’t believe you’re even asking this !
But pushy as is results driven and gets what they want , yes definitely , I like a woman who knows what she wants and how to get it

It's a rhetorical question really, because I'm trying to figure out where his veris came from |

"What are people’s definition of pushy?"
In this case it was messaging us to say he was looking for couples (cool, didn't ask!), we stated he clearly hadn't read our profile on multiple counts but that didn't stop him messaging several more times - each time he acted as though he simply couldn't help himself which was quite amusing |

"Anyone else reading this and fearing they are a pest, no? Me neither "
You'd have to display some supreme ignorance to match this fella fear not!
(Autocorrect cramped my style and ruined my emoji the first time lol) |

GONE/TIMEOUT (No DMs please) |
I usually ignore/block if pushy.
I met one chap who seemed pushy by text, perhaps due to the sheer volume of texts, but in person, (after several months cooloff period) the most respectful non pushy person I've ever met.
BUT it can easily be the other way...
So disturbing that so many men take "no" as a challenge.

No pushy is not a good thing at all you was right to block them |

"If anyone's that pushy about wanting to meet me...I just assume they must be fake "
Kind of reminds me of scam emails 101. Create a sense of urgency to get someone to do something "silly" quickly without thinking it through.

Word! Also, if I don't fancy them, they're "pushy". If I fancy them, they're "persistent"
God bless the chasers, thank you for your service. |

"When does excited/trying fall into pushy territory?"
I think ignoring the fact that messages have been deleted or replied to with scorn is pushy territory, and the fact he seemed to find it funny |

Being pushy is a huge red flag to us and usually ends our conversation immediately with them.
Recently we were chatting to a gorgeous couple but if we didn't reply within the hour something was said. It happened a couple of times and we both got the ick straight away.

Not a chance which is a shame as Mr4 does like seeing Mrs4 deal with the pushy types in real life as it's great fun to watch !! but puhy types or the demanding types or even the directors or the fake Doms life is way to short and this is meant to be abit of fun between consenting "Adults" ?? |

I have been consistently messaged by a "DOM" who keeps asking when he can come over and dominate me.
I have in fact told him multiple times I don't do things like that on a first meet and I prefer a social first. 10+ veris. Messages every few days. |

I thought I was losing my mind with this chap. It seems they must get veris from folks with low standards who just want walking sex toys |

Nope any sign of pushiness I block.Had a pest on my single account recently ,everytime he spoke to me he mentioned meeting.i said I didn't feel ready, then he asked again,so block.
He's not interested in me not wanting to get,so what else would he ignore if we'd met ?.

This is the perfect answer.
It's an instant block from us the moment it becomes a bit pushy. |

So funny as just had another pushy experience. I briefly turned on profile views (big mistake!) and we were passive aggressively confronted, by a couple who have fucked enough to think they're gods lol!! |
