Is there a way of verifying just one half of a couple? It says you need to have met both otherwise you risk having your account closed

I'd hope that there isn't a way, because by verifying the profile you're verifying them as a couple.

Get the person to start a new single profile, and verify that.

There's plenty of couples profiles that have verifications stating that they only met half of the couple.
